I stared at Perlah, who was sleeping beautifully. Last night had been such a big blow, and she must have been exhausted from all the banging.
I stood in front of the mirror adjusting my tie, to ensure I was perfectly stunning for my first day in a long time at the company.
It was a big battle but I won.
Once I was done dressing, I picked up a pair of stunning shoes, put them on, and reached for my briefcase.
I looked back at Perlah, she was still fast asleep. Nothing I did bothered her, no matter how much noise I made, she just wouldn't wake up from sleeping peacefully.
Walking towards her side of the bed, I planted a kiss on her cheeks and patted her hair to rest more.
