I stay in the office sorting through things and placing orders I ordered kitchen equipment and supplies i also did another Bunnings order to be delivered then I placed orders for shop equipment to be delivered.

Looking at the wholesaler I placed a order for 5 vending machines and a tone of drinks. To be delivered.

I was tired now but I wanted to see if Darrell and Lexi were up. As I walked to their cabins they were all at Jerry’s. Howdy I said they all jumped.

I would like done by weekend Wednesday would be better if you two don’t want to have to move them as they will be delivered Thursday. Lexi a quote by the weekend would be good.

Just then a naked kid ran across the yard he was like 2 years old. Who does that belong to I said. Jerry smirked Jason brother must be still trying to get him in bath it’s being going on 2 hrs now.

He young and it’s not his kid you have a child why didn’t you help I don’t run a baby sitting service he said. I lost it no you even have your son home or will I assume his at my place. I stomped off to Jason’s cabin next door as I got to the cabin the little boy ran past oi I sang out he stopped is this your house he nodded yes then inside now.

He quickly ran past I knocked on the door and went in Jason came out sorry I’ve been trying to get him in here. I’m so thankful to you for the accommodation . No worries have you eaten the kids have what about you. I have a sandwich later I walked to the fridge and pantry there was very little. Jason what’s going on.

I try to buy for the kids I can’t afford much jobs are hard when you have 2 young kids to look after. Go get them bathed I said as I left his cabin. Lexi do you know how to drive these atv’’s. Jerry jumped in first I’ll take you were you need to go Caitlyn. That’s not what or who I asked.

I haven’t driven one but couldn’t be to hard good let’s go jerry 2 keys please no Darrell and I will take you or I’ll call Marcus. Jerry your pushing to far right now I said through gritted teeth us or Marcus which one do you want. Just then did I hear my name Marcus appeared.

Snatching his keys I went to the car Lexi are you coming she came and got in. I’ll be back I said directed at Marcus. I turned to Lexi where going to my place to get some things for Jason he has nothing. Ok she said.

Half hour later Lexi and I were back. We grabbed a couple of bags I looked at Marcus who was drinking I threw him the keys bring the rest of the stuff to Jason’s and do I need to remind you that your a cop and have to work in the morning. Nope I changed to afternoon oh good so we never see each other why do I bother. I kept walking to Jason’s.

When we got in Jason was still trying to put them in bed I told Lexi to pack the stuff away. Leave the pizza on the table. I walked to Jason you need to be tough they won’t like it that instance but they will have more respect. I don’t know I don’t think they’ll listen. Right bed now they climbed in I tucked them in. I walked out grabbing Jason in 1 minute they’ll get out tell them bed in a firm voice. He did they ran back it will keep happening but further apart till it doesn’t persist with it for the next week or you life will be hell. Next minute he said bed they went see. I stocked your pantry and fridge with a few things. There’s pizza on the table just need to reheat.

Tomorrow come see me in my office when your up and ready it’s ok I have a plan you’ll see. Good night. I walked over to Marcus I’m exhausted let’s go.

The next morning Marcus took the kids to school I went to see mrs Jones I told her about the trouble Jason was having and how I wanted to help could you watch the kids for a few hours of course.

I was in my office I just placed a grocery order and was placing one for Jason when he arrived excellent timing I’m doing a grocery order for you is there anything in particular you would like. Not at the moment ok then you’ll work for me you’ll do what I ask when I ask you will get your cabin and shopping and earn a wage how about 500 pw are you serious he said yes Jason I am but I demand excellence and I will give you work that’s ok he replied Great your first job is to sit here and pick out groceries make sure you have enough for the week at least.

Caitlyn I can’t cook ok leave the food to me Stephanie or I will help you. Just order everything else you need I’ll do the rest while he was doing that I wrote him a list of jobs to do as I needed to go into town. When he was done. He said Caitlyn could I ask for a favour.

Yes we’ll now that you are going to pay me $500pw I can put the kid in the daycare with my benefits it’s only $100 pw I just have never done it before because I didn’t have steady employment. I was just wondering if you could contact Janet the manager and advise her of my income. He handed me her number ok make a start on this list.

When he left the office I phone Janet she had 2 spots for them I paid $10,000 over the phone to help him out. She said they could start today. I finished his grocery order and went to find him. Jason you can take the kids in they start today your covered for a year. Go take them then come back to work.

I then seen Marcus driving in with Louise time to go to Bathurst she said excited. It’s not even lunch time. I know let’s go Marcus wants us to get lunch you worked to late last night and we’re gone early this morning who was I to argue. Marcus can you have Jerry here at 3.45 and 5.30 yes dear he replied.

Louise and I had a nice lunch it was relaxing 1pm what do you want to do now hmm you know that wholesaler place yep she said they have a room with things on sale. Cool lets go she said.

While at the wholesaler I grabbed boxes of chips, lollies and biscuits and several boxes of kids school snacks I asked them to deliver it all with drink order that was coming Thursday except 1 box of each that didn’t way much so I was sure I could get away with it.

At 2.30 we were outside the school when my phone rang it connected to the car speaker hello I said. Caitlyn it’s Jason I have done your list except for safes what would you like done next? Ask Jerry what he wants you to do. Actually no pick up the kids. Stephanie will come over later.

At 5.30 we were back the kids went to the house with Louise I went to work I checked Jason’s listed he did it all amazingly I need the safes done so I went to the truck I climbed up I put trolley underneath and tilted that wasn’t difficult I took 2 to the office and set them up by the time I’m got it working it was 9pm I sorted through the boxes I got today made 1 box of school snack, chips lollies and biscuits for Jason then made a bag each for Jerry, Darrell and Lexi.

I called jerry I need a ride from office to you guys please. I moved the stuff out of the office to lock the door. Just then my phone rang Caitlyn Louise said Stephanie hasn’t come home ok I’ll check Jason’s I’m on my way there.

Jerry arrived he loaded the things and off we went he dropped me and the box at Jason and parked outside his. Then gave the others the bags. When I went in the cabin was a mess Stephanie was washing dishes hello I sang out shhh don’t wake them. Oh sorry are you ready to leave. Yep she said

Jason came out looking sad I’m sorry Steph . It’s ok but tomorrow night I need to stay home and study so I put the leftovers in the fridge theirs enough for tomorrow. And I’m just dropping this off don’t worry your not special Darrell Lexi and jerry got some too.
