The rest of the night went much more smoothly. We all laughed and joked, and I kept a close eye on Austin. Not only did I want to make sure he had a good time, and that we didn’t say anything else to make him feel left out, I loved looking at him. The firelight danced on his skin, making him glow, and when he turned his head at just the right angle, his hair shone. I was absolutely in awe of him.
