Chapter 11

1159 Words
Handcuffed wearing an inmate's uniform. Dark circles under his eyes from sleepless nights. A frown adorned his features as he was treated like vermin. "Min Yoongi?" His head looks up to the voice of the police officer. He glared at anyone who dared to approach him ever since he was dumped into this cell. The officer opens the cell gates and he stands from his spot walking out of the cell, following the officer down the hallway. He was led in front of an office door and was opened for him as he was handcuffed, he went in and was met by a tall figure standing by the window, illuminating a slender silhouette. The man then turns around as soon as the door gets shut and Min Yoongi was inside standing at the doorway. "Oh, Mr. Min. I am Kim Seokjin and I will be your attorney for your upcoming trial. Please sit" Yoongi's eyes lit up with hope the moment the man mentioned that he was his attorney. He sits on a couch across Attorney Kim, who was spreading papers on the table between them. "So, how can I help you, Mr. Min?" "Please just, Yoongi." Attorney Kim nods, and puts on his glasses ready to listen. ** His phone vibrated in his pocket as he was sitting in his father's office, arranging files for him and compiling the new reports from his employees about the possible new items to be sold in their stores, the Miniso stores in Korea. He was currently being trained by his father, since Min Gi Hyuk is thinking about stepping down from his job for a while now. His father wanted him to take over Miniso. He fished for his phone in his pockets, finally finding it. His father? Why would he be calling him? He just went to restroom. "Yes, Abeoji?" "Yoongi-ah, can you please get me a tissue roll, these goddamn cubicles don't have one. I can't stand because my shi—" "Okay, okay, Abeoji. Hold on" Yoongi chuckles as he let his phone, press against his ear looking for some tissue rolls in his father's office while his father talked his ear off about him paying the janitors of his company more than enough, so why the hell is there no tissue roll in his cubicle to wipe his ass with. "Try my third drawer on the right side of my desk" Yoongi goes around the table and slides open the said drawer and there it was, a roll of tissue. "Got it. Where are you, Abeoji?" "Male's restroom, same floor, middle cubicle. Hurry my anus is starting to—" "Abeoji!" Yoongi whines against his phone, whilst his father laughs before hanging up on him. Yoongi walks along the long hallway of the building, employees greeting him as he passed by them, some even looked at him then giggled as they assumed he was going to take a dump. Tissue roll, alcohol and soap in his hands and heading for the restroom. A starter pack for taking a dump. He rounds the corner and goes into the restroom. "Abeoji?" "Oh, Yoongi-ah! Quick! It really hurts!" Yoongi checks under the cubicles first, and he saw two pairs of shoes. One was in the next cubicle --Wow, Dr. Martens and the other pair was his father's. Yoongi slips his hands under the cubicle, where his father was in, whilst holding his breath. Damn, what did he eat? "Oh, I don't need the soap. I already got mine. Thank you" Yoongi moves away from the cubicle and turned to wash his hands. His father finally emerges from the cubicle, letting out a huge breath of relief. "Success!" "I'll head back now, Abeoji" Yoongi dries his hands and recollects the alcohol, tissue rolls and the soap in his hands. He took out his phone and checked for any notifications. Along the way, a man bumps into him causing for his things to scatter on the floor. Yoongi groans and picks them up, he saw the same shoes that he saw in the restroom standing a few inches from his things. Then, a tattoed finger reached down collecting a chipped eyeglasses —that probably fell from the person from bumping into him. He didn't even help Yoongi with his things as he just ran away. He finally reaches his father's office as he sat, and continued to scroll down his phone. The door suddenly slams open! "Freeze! Hands behind your head! Do not move or we will shoot!" Yoongi jumps from the couch as he was startled by the commotion, his big eyes darted to the security guards that were piling into his father's office. "Do as I say, sir!" He does, and he drops his phone in fear. His hands were shaking as he held it behind his head, a tight grip holds his hands and he felt cold metal bite his wrists. "What is going on?!" He shouts in confusion, as employees peeked from outside the office watching the scene. A police officer, who always patrolled near their company walked inside and stood before a very confused and terrified, Min Yoongi. "You are underarrest for being the prime suspect of the murder of Min Gi Hyuk" It's like he lost his sanity, the moment he hears the words murder and his father's name in one sentence. ** Attorney Kim nods taking down notes, then pausing for a moment. "You mentioned there was a man in the cubicle beside your father's, correct? "Yes" "Was he in there already when you handed your father the things he needed?" Yoongi nods. "Do you remember any details of his shoes? Designs? Anything?" Yoongi perks up, he remembers the shoes. For goodness sake, he even admired them! "Dr. Martens, Men's Icon 7, Eye boots. And he has a tattoo as well" "A tattoo?" Seokjin tilts his head but then remembers that the man who bumped Yoongi had the same shoes. "It was a capricorn's head, tattoed on the side of his pinky finger" Seokjin nods. This is great information! He cannot help but fist pump in his head silently because it would be inappropriate and disrespectful to his client's situation, if he actually did that action. "I see.. My deepest condolences for your father, Min Yoongi. Let me try and build a defense. You have a good chance of winning this case—" "I don't care about winning anything, I just want justice for my father's death" Tears slipped from his eye, as he wiped it quickly with his bounded wrists. "Yes, Yoongi. The real criminal shall be punished, don't worry" Seokjin wraps it up as Min Yoongi gets escorted back to his cell and he climbs into his car. He was confident about his defendant, he knew the stakes of winning against Min Yoongi's charges were high and he could not wait to go back to the firm and construct a powerful case against his defendant's accusations.
