I jump up and hug Nikki, having missed her over the past few months. I didn’t even get to see her once I was finally free because I went to the other campus and refused to come back here. I was able to get close to Nikki through my sister and always appreciated how kind she was to me. She treated me as if I were her little sister, and I truly appreciate her for that. “Do you want to join us?”
“No, I can’t. I actually have somewhere to be. I heard you were back, and I just had to come see you. You are back, right?” That's a good question. Am I back for good, or am I just here for a little bit?
“I’m here for now. We should get together some time and catch up.” Nikki smiles at me before kissing me on my cheek.
“We will definitely get together later. We have a lot to discuss.” Nikki
