Amma got over her surprise at the fact that Will and I were step-siblings, and she stopped asking why I had not told her all the while we were friends.
She didn't understand how much I wanted a perfect time to tell her. How uncomfortable and awkward I had thought it would be, talking about it or mentioning it. But it was not that awkward when I tried, though.
"So, what are we going to do now?" I asked her. "You know more people than I do. Before we started talking, you had a more premium social life, and you knew who was dating who. Do you think you could do some brainstorming and tell me who this girl Jessica is?" I finished.
