LIZ'S POV
After Amma took me home and went back to hers, I was sure my life would go back to normal now because the gossip had died down and hopefully, Mom had forgotten about it too.
Mom had been the most concerned about the rumors and she had obviously believed that Will and I were a thing. She wasn't exactly far from the truth but I hadn't expected her to pay any attention to it.
The next few days at home was normal. No one said anything about me leaving home. Greg did not feel any need to talk to me again about what he had first started on the phone and I was grateful for that. I made my meals and ate alone and mom was fine with that.
No one knocked on my door to say anything and then Amma came to see me. She spent time with me in my room and talked about everything I had missed
