LIZ'S POV School was great the next day but Amma was moody, not her usual chatty self, and there was no way I could have a complete day when she was in a terrible mood. We had classes all morning and then we had our lives back. "Let us grab a drink somewhere in town. I want to talk about something while we drink." She said the moment we stepped out of class. I agreed with her, not wanting to argue even though I was well aware that it was not her usual style. "Or, don't you think we could just crash at my place and have the conversation over a plate of a meal that I will fix?" I suggested it nicely, not knowing if she would actually go with the idea.
