LIZ'S POV
Will and I were not accorded so much room to speak after the last word he had spoken. We just sat staring at them, there was no look of guilt in his eyes and I knew there was none in mine. He had said whatever Mom and Greg had heard was only a rumor and he stood by it, but mom didn't believe him one bit.
"This is not the first time a rumor is circulating about me. Why is this bringing so much trouble?" He asked after mom said she was not judging us and she understood how the heart works _ a total lie _ and also, we didn't have to lie to her and Greg about our relationship.
