WILL'S POV
It was not until the next day before Liz and I got to talk. She was the same way she had been the last time we had spoken. As usual, she was not in haste to remind me that we were step siblings and she laughed when she thought I had made a joke. It was heartwarming and I did not want to get off the phone.
Just hearing her laugh and call my name was all I needed to have a good evening. There was so much I had planned on talking to her about. About her friend Amma being buddies with Janet who looked like she would get into trouble soon, but none of that seemed to matter the moment it was just the both of us talking. I did not want to mention anything else that was not us. It was only my name I wanted to hear her call and it was only her name that I called too.
