Chapter 5 The campus was in chaos, and everyone was trying to find Dean. Meanwhile, Dean was now at one of Alma's places. They felt that for now, Dean was only safe there. [Alma, don't come to campus for a few days. Tell Dean this is serious!] Aedric messaged. Davi, who was also there, was also worried. He immediately sent a message to Aedric. [What happened?] Message sent. A picture was now sent to him. Their dorm room was in chaos. Everyone was looking for Dean. [Everything is so chaotic, rumors are circulating! Whoever finds Dean and is the cruelest to him will get one million dollars from Arnold. That person is crazy!] Aedric said. Davi's fists clenched. If only he were higher in status than Arnold, he would have stomped on that bastard's head long ago. While Davi was still lost in his thoughts, Dean had already regained consciousness. "Aghh… you're awake, lucky you, the shot only grazed your arm. You probably fainted from hunger. Eat!" Davi immediately handed him the food he had prepared for him. The man looked nervous. Dean noticed this. "Is something wrong, Davi?" Dean's brow furrowed, his gaze never leaving Davi's. "You have to be careful, Dean. Arnold isn't my equal." Hearing that, Dean chuckled. "Well, he's not my equal. He's only a fraction of the wealth I'd have if I were to become the heir again," he thought. Dean exhaled slowly. "Yeah, I'll be careful with him." Just then, Alma arrived. "Dean, if you're feeling better, you can get out of my place!" Dean was a little surprised by Alma's words. The girl kicked them out? But thereafter, he seemed unconcerned. "Yes, we're leaving, right now." Dean immediately stood up. But as he stood, he immediately fell back down. Alma was surprised to see him. But for a moment, she didn't say anything. Davi sensed that Dean's condition was still not good. How could they leave, and where would they go? "Alma… can Dean stay here for one more night?" Davi asked. "Sorry, Davi, I can't!" Immediately after saying that, Alma moved away from them. "Forget it, Davi. I'm still going to campus today," Dean said. "I've recovered. I just need to recharge my batteries, and I believe I can face them." "You're crazy!" Davi shouted. "Yes, I am, don't you know that!" Dean quickly ate his food, while Davi could only sigh heavily. "This isn't a joke, Dean!" "Yes, I know!" Dean smiled faintly. In his mind, he was going to challenge those people. He was going to lure his parents to rescue him. He had to take the risk. However, if his parents didn't come, it would be his end. He would gamble with his life. Alma, hearing Dean was about to enter campus, became momentarily anxious. Unconsciously, she gripped the object in her hand tightly. Then she quickly watched Dean and Davi leave her. And now, here Dean was. In front of his magnificent campus. "Let's play!" He entered boldly, fearless. That courage came only from the thought of the revenge he wanted to exact on Arnold. That damn bastard. "I won't let a man like him ruin this magnificent campus." His steps were sure. All eyes were now on him. The crowd was shocked. "Oh s**t, he's so bold!" "Is that Dean? He's here!" "Wow, the king of our campus has arrived! Tell the others!" Someone immediately rushed off and spread the news. People started running. Moments later, Dean walked into a blind spot on the CCTV. Several people were already waiting for him. He was quickly dragged away by the men. But Dean fought back. He finished them off. But the men continued to come. He just kept laughing as he exchanged blows with those who dared to hit him simultaneously. He stuck out his middle finger and glared at them. "f**k you, Arnold. I challenge you! f**k you! You're just a coward!" Dean then snorted. "Tell him that's my message!" The blows continued to fly at his face. He continued to retaliate, and he was starting to feel weak. "Ah, not now! Wait until news of my bullying spreads. If I die now, my parents might not find out. This will be dangerous for me." Two days. He would endure this for two days. He would play cat and mouse with those people. Meanwhile, elsewhere, Davi met with Eadric and Zion. Davi told them everything. Zion and Eadric were so frustrated. Why was every action Dean always took so rash? What should they do? They couldn't even approach Dean. They had a family to protect. If they openly helped Dean, their family would be in danger. "Now we can only pray that Dean will get through this. Who knows what he's planning to do to make him so bold?" said Eadric. "He said this was his way of reclaiming his identity," said Davi. Hearing that, Eadric and Zion could only grip their hair roughly. "Dean is truly insane!" Time passed, and it was now the second day. Eadric, Zion, and Davi hadn't even seen Dean once. No one knew what was going on. Arnold, who learned that Dean had escaped, became furious and kicked and punched his men. "Is it so hard to kill that man? Huh! Or do you want to pay for his life?" Everyone was terrified. "Then get him today, dead or alive! Bring him before me!" They then dispersed and resumed their hunt for Dean. Meanwhile, Dean was still asleep. He was so exhausted that he had to sleep behind a very narrow closet. Luckily, no one knew where it was. So he could rest. He then went outside and saw if his parents had made a move for him. However, as the afternoon approached, no one seemed to have any intention of stopping it. "Oh s**t! Is my life really worthless now?" He was starting to get tired. Those people had found him! He had to save himself. No one would save him this time! He would die a foolish death. Just as he was about to end it all. To run away and never return. A knife suddenly pierced his chest. Dean was silent for a moment, shocked. Was this how he was going to die? Dean felt fresh blood flowing from his skin, and the next second, the knife was pulled out and stabbed into his stomach. He had resigned himself to death and closed his eyes as the knife was pulled out and about to plunge it into his chest. Dean resigned himself. But in the next second, he heard the knife fall and the sound of several guns ringing in his ears. And the stab in his chest—that didn't happen? Someone saved him! "Save the young master immediately!" someone shouted and angrily.
