Kestrel's POV I flinch back, almost wanting to turn away, but Principal Morrison says it's okay and I should relax and not think of getting up. I tell him I don't want to. Miguel, my father's body guard, stands by his side always like a stone, and his actions tell me that he wouldn't mind breaking me to pieces if I dared make an inch.
