Chapter3

I woke up with a groan as my alarm went off. It was five thirty in the morning. I rushed to the bathroom and did my morning routines and then hopped in the shower. It was my first training day and I was really nervous. I didn't know what kind of training I had to do but whatever that training would be, it would make me strong as dad said. When I finished showering I dried my body with a fluffy White towel and walked out of the bathroom.

   I saw a sports bra and a sports pant laying down on the bed. I quickly wore those. That sports bra was combination of red and black and that pant was completely black. It suited my skin color and my curves were showing. I tied my hair in a ponytail    and wore a sports shoe which dad gave me yesterday and jogged to dad's office. I couldn't help but think of the events that happened within two days. My life completely changed within a blink of eyes. But I couldn't help but be grateful to God for this. I still felt bad for my father, I didn't even know how he was. It was quite ridiculous to think that my own father abandoned me and someone else was willing to be my father. God could my life be more complected than this. Anyway I put out those thoughts from my head for clearing my mind.

   I got lost again in this house, this house was huge and I am not used to it. So I asked a gurd where dad's office was he dropped me to dad's office and I knocked thrice and I heard him saying"come in. " As I walked in his office he looked up from his laptop and said "Selena you are two minutes late. "I was quite astonished. Really was that even late, two minutes surely didn't matter. "Yes two minutes does matter every single second matters, and I don't want you to be late, it's very important to be punctual."dad said. Oops I said that out loud. "Sorry it won't happen again,I just got lost. "I managed to say. "Don't let it happen again and yes don't expect me to be soft with your training I am very strict when it comes to training specially your training" He said. "But what's this training is about?"I asked curiously. "You will figure out"he replied. "Now I want you to meet your trainer,let's go. "He said. He lead the way and I walked behind watching the whole house on the way. And as expected this part of house is also white. Seriously I had to ask him one day why he liked white so much.

   We stopped in front of a door and he opened the door and I walked in and so did he. My jaw literally dropped. It was a huge training ground. I didn't know know he had a training ground in this house but then again I didn't know alot of things about him. I looked around the ground. There was running tracks in one corner and in another corner there were human shaped targets.

   But there was no one but us so I turned around and asked"where is the trainer dad?" He smiled and said "I am your trainer kiddo. I figured no one can train you better than me so I decided to train you by my self. "I started at him and asked" Uhh...it's great so from where should we start? "He looked at me and said"well first run in this running track for half an hour" Okay this wasn't a jock, this running track was huge and half an hour is way too long. "What are you waiting for? Start running now. "His voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I started running. But I didn't stop. When I finished running my legs were in fire. And then I did pushups,laps, splitting, boxing. I thought it was over but he then walked over me and handed me a gun. I panicked when I saw the gun. But before I could say anything he said"shooting is important if you get in trouble it can help you and you have to learn how to shoot ". I just nodded my head. I inhaled and thought I could do it. He told me to shoot one of those human snapped targets. I fired the gun but missed the target. "Focus Selena focus"dad said from behind me. I nodded and this time I aimed for his head and the bullet went right through the target's hean and I squealed and said"I did it dad,I didn't it. "He ruffled my head and said"yeah you did it now get clean up because I think you need a shower and after that meet me in my office."

   I went to my room and striped out of my sports bra and pants and hopped in the shower. As soon the hot water touched my skin my muscles relaxed. I took my time in shower and after finishing the shower I walked into my room and wore my previous blue dress because I didn't have anything else to Wear. My whole body was in fire. The pain was too much. I laid on the bed for a while. I looked around the room as I didn't had the time to look around my room before.

   My room was also white in color. There was a french window in the right side and my bed was in the opposite side of the window. The bedsheet and pillow cover was also white. A T. V was placed on the wall which was just in front of my bed . There was a bookshelf on the left wall and beside the bookshelf there was a couch which was also white.

   After a while I decided to go to dad's office. I literally couldn't walk straight. I felt like my legs would give up soon. But anyway I reached to my dad's office and knocked for three times. I heard a "come in"from dad and I walked in. "Hey kiddo take a seat there"he said pointing me to sit in the chair which was across from him. I winched while seating and he noticed that."I know it's hard for you and it hurts like a b***h at first but you will eventually get use to it and then you won't feel any pain and the best part is you will be stronger then"he said and smiled. I nodded my head. "Anyway I called you because I thought you need clothes as you don't have anything to wear so tomorrow you will go to sopping and buy everything you need and don't worry about money,I will give you my credit card and there is no limit for you,you can spend as much as you want"he said. I was really shocked. Yeah he adopted me and treated me like his own but seriously he trusted me that much that he was giving me his credit card even though he just knew me for two days. It was a miracle how just the day before yesterday I had nothing and no one and now I had a dad who wasn't even my own but acted like just one. How could I be this lucky.

   I didn't realize that I was crying until dad wiped my tears out. He kneeled down in front of me and said " Don't cry kiddo you have me now I will always protect you no matter what and...."he was about to say something but suddenly a loud sound of gunshot  echoed through the whole house. My whole body was stiffed with fear. I couldn't move. "s**t"dad cursed. "Look Selena stay under my table and don't come out from their, no one knows the password to enter my office and take this gun if anyone but me enters the office shot him okay and you know how to do it. Don't be scared everything will be okay"he quickly said and gave me a gun. He pressed a kiss on my forehead and walked out of the office and closed the door. I was shaking with fear. I heard the gunshots and I was crying because I   didn't want to loose dad. He was the only person who ever showed care for me after my mom died.

After what felt like forever the door of the office opened and I was ready with my gun. I didn't know who it was but then I heard my dad's soft voice. "Everything is okay you can come out now"he said. I came out from under the table and looked at him. I gasped when I saw his shirt was cCV0overed in blood. I again started to cry. I asked him"dad are you hurt? " A sob escaped from my mouth. "Hey, hey stop crying I am not hurt kiddo it's them who attaked me got hurt"he said holding me face with his both hands. "Selena I need to tell you something. well I thought I'd tell you later but the sooner I will tell you the easier it will be"he said with a serious tone. I was scared about what he was going to tell me. Was he going to leave me? Was he going to kick me out or worse was he going to return me to my father. Million questions ran in my head. He cleared his throat and said" Well.. I am not a normal person Selena I am the head of the Salvatore family. I am Romano Salvatore. My family is the second most powerful mafia family in Italy " I started at him with wide eyes for minutes. The word mafia was ringing in my ears. He was obviously kidding I thought. How could it be and what the hell where was i? He just said Italy I literally couldn't be in f*****g Italy.so I said"you are kidding right? Mafias are gone a long ago and also did you just say Italy? I am still in US right?"I asked him. He looked at me and signed then he said"no mafias are not gone people think that we are gone but no we are not and you are not in US you are in Italy. I took you here by my private jet when you were asleeped "okay that made sence. I was totally okay, note the sarcasm. It was a lot to take in. " Look I am sorry for not telling you this before but I was afraid that you would run away and I would eventually tell you when you would be ready and completely trained and that's because then you wouldn't leave me. I knew you would freak out that's way I didn't tell you but the decision is completely yours now. If you leave than you don't have to go back to your father I will take care of where you will leave and about your education and if you stay than you can be the next head of this family"he said. I stayed quiet for a while and then dad said "okay I get it you don't want to say here...un... I will make the arrangements then"his voice seemed broken he was about to leave but I stopped him"I will stay here"he started at me and then hugged me. How could I leave him? He decided to stand by my side when no one did not even my father, he treated me like his own daughter, he even showed respect to my deceptions how could I leave him. I couldn't be that heart less. I would stay and try my best. "I will train you and one day you will be the best leader this family ever had ,you are a fighter Selena and you will be the best,the queen one day and I promise that to you that you will"he said still hugging me. Yes I would do anything to be best, to provide him that I was worth it and I was strong.
