The wave of unfamiliarity hit me as I looked around. I don’t recall how I ended up here, but I know it wasn’t our territory.
“Hello?” I called out while walking around, trying to determine if anyone was nearby. All I heard was the sound of the wind that felt like an ominous whisper.
I started running. If my instincts were correct, I had to get away from here as fast as possible. However, my plan immediately halted after hearing cries from a distance—the voices of children.
