"How confident are you that Xavion's parents will accept you?" Trinity looked at me from head to foot, "I don't know what Xavion sees in you. You're nothing but a second-grade, trying hard copycat." Her brow raised, and so did mine.
"I heard that line in a movie. You're not being original." I pursed my lips and challenged her, causing her to lose her smile.
"I'm not someone you can just trample on, Trinity. You've underestimated me," I smiled, feeling more confident with Xavion by my side. No matter what, I would hold onto him dearly because we are a couple now.
