✤ FEW HOURS LATER ✤ Jae-kyung and Funke came back home already, and Jae-kyung has returned to her room quietly just the way she came. Funke also was sitting alone in the sitting room, doing her usual routine. Phone! Not long after they came back, Ju-kyung came out of her room with her phone in her hand. She’s only on a crop top that shows her navel, making her navel ring visible. And a cute blue bum short which reveals her clean and spotless thighs. She put on her flip-flops before heading towards the door. “I’m at the door already. Calm down babe.” She said as she opened the door. The moment she opened it, the guy pulled her into a hug, and she smiled cutely while inhaling his sweet scent. “I missed you.” The guy said in his cool and sweet voice. Funke was badly craving to see the guy’s face, as she tried really hard not to act nosy. “Come in. Let’s go to my room.” Ju-kyung said while pulling the guy in, and the guy closed the door. ‘OMG…! Am I in heaven?? Is he an angel?? Why is he so cute??… Or am I dreaming?? Someone please wake me up. How could he be so f**king handsome?? Is he human at all??!’ Funke screamed in her head as her gaze landed on Soo-oh, Ju-kyung’s boyfriend. Soo-oh looked at her somehow before smiling. Seeing his cute smile, Funke fainted immediately. Soo-oh’s eyes widened when he realized that Funke fainted. He wanted to rush to her and help her to regain consciousness but Ju-kyung held him back. “What are you trying to do??” She asked, and Soo-oh looked at her. “To help her regain consciousness of course. What does it look like I’m trying to do??” Soo-oh asked back, but Ju-kyung shook her head. “No. Leave her alone. She’ll wake up if she feels like. You didn’t come here because of her, so let’s go.” She said and dragged Soo-oh along with her to her room, while he kept looking back at Funke. Immediately they entered and Ju-kyung locked her room behind, Jae-kyung came out of her hiding place and rushed towards Funke. She was probably hiding from her twin sister till she got the time to come close to her new friend. “Hey…” She called in a low voice while tapping Funke’s shoulder to wake up. She did that several times but Funke didn’t wake up, then she slapped her slightly though it was a hard one. Funke sprang up and started looking around as if looking for something or someone. “Where is the cute angel??” She asked Jae-kyung who rolled her eyes. “Keep your mouth shut and stop asking foolish question. He’s not an angel, he’s a human, and he’s Soo-oh, Ju-kyung’s boyfriend. The one I told you about.” Jae-kyung said, and Funke smiled. “Oh! He’s taken already.” She muttered and Jae-kyung raised her brows. “Don’t tell me you’re already falling for him??” She asked, and Funke immediately shook her head. “No no. I’m just saying…” “Good. Better let it be that way, because Ju-kyung doesn’t joke with him. If you have any feelings for him, better demolish it now.” Jae-kyung said, and Funke nodded. “I’m not the type that falls for guys easily.” She rolled her eyes. “Good… I actually—” a knock interrupted her, and they both shared a look. “Do you have a guest??” Funke asked and Jae-kyung shook her head. “No. Must be Jun-hee and Min-ho.” Jae-kyung replied while standing up. “Who are those??” Funke asked in confusion. “Oh. They’re my younger sister and stepbrother. They come here everyday. Jun-hee must surely like you because she loves Nigerians a lot!” Jae-kyung replied with a smile and headed towards the door. ‘Well well well, let’s see the stepbrother. He must also be handsome.’ Funke muttered to herself as she kept her gaze on the door. Jae-kyung opened the door, and truly, it was her siblings. They both came in with smiles on their faces and Jae-kyung closed the door. “I missed you so much Unnie.” Jun-hee pouted as she hugged Jae-kyung. “Lies. You still came here yesterday.” Jae-kyung scoffed. ‘Wow! He’s also handsome! These people are really blessed with cuteness. Gawd!’ Funke said in her head as she stared at Min-ho. None of them was aware of Funke’s presence until… “Who’s she?? I heard she’s a new student.” Min-ho asked as he stared continuously at Funke. “Oh! Yeah. She’s a new student and our new housemate…” Jae-kyung said and leaned closer to the two of them. “My new friend too.” She said that in a whisper and Jun-hee also looked at Funke. “What?! Your new friend?? What if Ju-kyung Unnie finds out?!” Jun-hee half-yelled in a whisper, and Jae-kyung shook her head with a smile. “Chholte! (Never!)… She’ll never find out. We kept it a secret.” She said. “What secret?? I already heard it from the students before coming here that you went out with a strange looking girl. Trust me, Ju-kyung Noona will surely hear it from them.” Min-ho said and Jae-kyung sighed heavily. “Anyway, that’s not a problem. She can’t keep on controlling my life. I need friends too.” She said and sat down. “So… what’s your name Miss??” Jun-hee asked while taking a seat beside Jae-kyung. Min-ho also sat down opposite them. “Violet Olufunke.” Funke replied, and Jun-hee furrowed her brows. “I’ve heard of Violet, but the second one sounds somehow strange. Fuye or what did you call it??” Jun-hee asked, and Funke laughed. “It’s Funke… but you know what, just call me Violet.” Funke said after her laughter subsided. “Alright. Which country are you from??” Jun-hee asked. Jae-kyung and Min-ho were just watching with no expression whatsoever. “I’m a Nigerian.” Funke replied, and Jun-hee’s eyes grew wider. “Are you for real??!” She gasped, and Funke nodded with a smile. In just a twinkle of an eye, Jun-hee jumped over to where Funke sat, and quickly took a seat beside her. “Wow! I love Nigerians a lot! Which part of Nigeria are you from??” She asked. Funke was surprised at her sudden attitude. She never knew that there would be someone here who love Nigerians. “Are you from Lagos State??” Jun-hee asked again when Funke didn’t reply, and her eyes widened more. “How did you know??” She asked and Jun-hee shrugged while smiling. “I heard Lagos State is the most famous City in Nigeria, so definitely, you must be from there.” She replied. “You’re right. I came from Victoria Island, Lagos State.” Funke replied and Jun-hee smiled. “Wow! Your house must be really big since you’re living on Island.” Jun-hee said and Funke chuckled. “Her parents must be really rich and prominent people.” Jae-kyung chipped in, and Jun-hee nodded in agreement. “Do you have any siblings?? Maybe a brother or a sister??” Jun-hee asked. Hearing that, Funke laughed slightly, revealing her gap-teeth and Jun-hee gasped. “Wow! How did you do that?? I want to have it too. You look really cute when you show it.” She said, and Funke laughed real this time. “I didn’t do it. It’s a natural gift from above.” She replied with a smile. “Really?? Awwn. I love you so much because you’re cute.” Jun-hee said while hugging her. Funke chuckled as she watched her behaving like a puppy around her. “C’mon tell me, do you have a brother or sister??” Jun-hee asked again immediately she broke the hug. “No. I’m an only child… but I have a twin cousins of both gender.” Funke replied as her mind drifted to her cousins, Bright and Charles. They’re the sweetest cousins you’ll ever pray to have. They looked after Funke in school as if she’s their treasure. Now they’re both in Oxford University, England, UK. “They must be really cute I guess.” Jun-hee asked and Funke nodded with a smile. “I miss them a lot. They’re currently in Oxford University.” She replied. “England??” “Yes. Both are studying law.” Funke replied. “Wow! I’m impressed… what about you?? Which course are you pl—” “That’s enough Jun-hee. You asked too many questions already. Aren’t you tired?? Does your mouth not hurt??” Min-ho asked, and Funke chuckled. “I was about to ask her same question. Since you both arrived, she’s been asking questions. Forming a news reporter already?? Huh?” Jae-kyung asked and Jun-hee rolled her eyes. “I was only trying to know more about her. That’s all.” Jun-hee said, and Min-ho sneered. “Trying to know more about her or about her cousin brother??” Min-ho asked and Jun-hee squeezed her face. “Exactly! Remember she always says that Nigerian boys are the cutest… she even went as far as saying she’d get married to one.” Jae-kyung said to Min-ho and they both laughed. “I told you guys not to talk about it!” Jun-hee snapped as she glared at them. “Oops! Kiddo is angry. Sorry baby.” Jae-kyung said and bursted out laughing again. “You both are really annoying… just don’t mind them Violet, tell me more about your cousins.” Jun-hee said as she faced Funke. “Hmm… don’t mind her Violet, tell her more about your cousins, especially your cousin brother.” Jae-kyung said and Jun-hee sent her a shot across the bow. “Yes. She’d really want to know more about him than his twin sister, so tell her about him first.” Min-ho added, and Jun-hee folded her fists in anger mixed with frustration. “I hate you guys. I hate you so fvcking much!” She yelled angrily, and Jae-kyung bursted out laughing. “Hey hey! Calm down kiddo.” Min-ho said and she rolled her eyes as she fumed with anger. ✰
