I took a moment, thinking that can get better? And I thought of what Cristopher would think and then I jumped up and started pacing while talking to myself saying “oh my god, Cristopher he must be so worried about me and after what I did, he is going to hate me for ever.” Tamara just smiled kindly and said “Everything will be ok Jade, come back to bed and rest for the night” but I just could not calm down. Tamara then got up and wrapped her arms around me so my back was pressed against the front of her body and her breasts were pressed against my back she turned my head slightly and made me look into her eyes, I slowly felt my panic draining from my body. Unsure of what had just happened Tamara took my hands and led me back the bed. “If you are so worried about it I will have someone check in at your house for you to make sure he does not stay worried for long” she then pushed me so that I was lying in bed again and I said to her “Thank you. And I think it would be nice to be human but have all of the powers and senses of a vampire.” Hearing my response Tamara smiled a beautiful smile and leant over and kissed me on the forehead. Then she lent down to my breasts and started kissing, sucking and biting the flesh in the centre between both breasts. Though I didn't see it or feel any different, at one point while she was doing this her fangs had come out and she bitten me gently as though playing and I didn't even notice, she licked where she had bitten me to seal the wound and then kissed my lips and I tasted blood, that's when I realised she had done it. She smiled her million-dollar smile at me again, though this time her fangs were out, and they were the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. She said with a slight lisp due to her fangs “You are now a Demi-vampire with the best parts of both. You have our power of strength, speed, hearing, sight and even our flawless skin” she winked at that one and I looked at my chest where she had been and saw a mark like i have never seen before it was like the 2 holes merged and became an inticate pattern. I then looked back at Tamara and smiled widely before my eyes closed by themselves and I fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

The next morning, I woke feeling better than I had ever felt before. I looked around and realised I was not at home and then I remembered what happened that night I looked down at my chest again and smacked myself in the forehead how was i going to hide this from Christopher? Glad it was Sunday and that I didn't have class today I turned and saw Tamara sleeping so soundly yet there was no rise and fall of her chest. I leant over and kissed her gently on the forehead and her eyes fluttered open, she smiled at me and said “Good morning my dear, did you sleep well?” I smiled back and nodded, then my stomach grumbled. I instantly went red in the face and said “I did. Thank you Tamara, it was the best sleep I've had in a long time though I am very hungry.”

Tamara laughed and said, “Come we will dress and head to the Dining hall for breakfast.”

She walked over to the closet and threw it open now that I am more together, I look in the walk-in robe and my mouth dropped, it was the size of a house and every wall was covered in clothes. She turned and Smiled at my wide-eyed expression. She said, “Pick whatever your heart desires.” So off I went going through all the clothes trying to decide what to wear. I settled for a pretty blue sun-dress and when I came out Tamara smiled and said “That suits you. You can keep it if you'd like and when you wear it you can think of me” suddenly her tone changed and she was very serious “Though last night I allowed you to call me Tamara, when around other vampires you must call me your highness or your majesty, is that ok? It’s a formality that I shouldn’t break but last night I was just so captivated by you it slipped my mind for most of our time together” there was a hint of concern in her question as if she was afraid of my answer so I smiled and curtsied and said “Of course your highness” and when I stood up I noticed how she had relaxed and we both laughed at my mockery of court formalities as I could tell that even she didn’t feel entirely comfortable with it in general and not just when it came to me.

Queen Tamara and I linked arms and walked down to the first floor where the dining hall was and we were greeted by more than 100 or so others who were already sitting in the hall when they saw Tamara they all stood instantly bowing and said “Good morning your majesty” Tamara smiled and said “good morning, I hope you all slept well” and walked to the front with me at her side with our arms still linked. Everyone in the hall was looking at me oddly and I felt a shiver as over 100 pairs of eyes followed my every movement. I did not understand why until we were seated at the front facing them all and saw all the different ages of women in the hall. They sat down when we did and began to chatter, I quietly asked Tamara what I really wanted to know. “Tamar- I mean your highness are all of these your children?”

Tamara smiled and replied, “No dear, they aren't my real children how would I keep this figure if they were?” and we giggled and then she continued “No, they are all vampires. Full vampires whom I have turned over the years” I just nodded not sure what to say as I was so confused by the varying ages of those in front of us. She smiled before saying “Oh my darling Jade, relax I may look 20 and I am physical, but I am much older than the children you see before you.” I didn't want to ask how old she really was, so I just nodded and answered “You said there were 3 boys, where are they? And wait its daytime and sunny won’t you all burn up and die?” Tamara smiled and replied

“No, my dear that is a story we spread ourselves so that we weren't recognised as we like being able to blend in. And the boys, well it is Sunday so they are probably still sleeping but you will meet them soon enough.” she went back to eating her food. She looked so dainty and beautifu,l I was mesmerised and then I looked out over everyone else and still noticed many of their eyes following my every movement, so I began eating my own breakfast. Before breakfast ended one of the ladies approached and asked to speak with Queen Tamara privately. Tamara nodded at the lady and she left the table and exited the hall as if she already knew where she was to go and wait to be spoken to, Tamara then turned to me and said “Ok darling that is the lady I sent to your home she just wants to let me know how it went. I will be back shortly. Finish your breakfast and I will come and collect you when I am done.” Then she left without another word. i finished my breakfast and right as i took my last bite Queen Tamara came back to collect me from the dining hall, she walked me to the main enterance and said "you should be heading home as to not worry Cristopher" though her facial expression changed to the deepest scowl at the mere mention of his name and I didn’t understand why but I brushed it off and she gave me her number to get in contact with her if I needed.

Finally, home I placed my keys and handbag on the hall table while I was standing there, I was thinking about everything that had happened the night before. I smiled with a faint blush on my cheeks at the memory and went to see if Cristopher was home. He wasn't, I began to worry and called his mobile but got no answer. That is odd I thought, he always answers his phone so I tried again and again still no answer, but it was ringing. The next thing I know his walking in the door behind me with his hair wet even though it is sunny out and his mouth dropped seeing me in my new dress, then I saw a mark on his neck not just any mark but a hicky then I knew why I hadn’t gotten an answer and I was furious. I walked over and pushed him, and he went tumbling over and over many times before hitting the wall. I froze. Oh my god was that me was that some of my new powers? I did not even push him that hard. Then he looked up at me, it was as if I were a monster, but I could also see confusion in his eyes. Then I started yelling at him about him being a lying, cheating bastard and that I hated him and was leaving. He suddenly started laughing at my outburst. He got up and walked too me until he was right in my face and said, “Oh really? and where do you think you'll go? This is a new town and you only know me, and you don’t have any money so you can’t return to where the rest of your family and friends are.” I was shocked he was right, I didn’t have any money but he didn’t know about me and Queen Tamara so I just smiled and pretended to go hit him and he flinched as if he thought he would end up on the floor again and I replied “Oh I will go. And it doesn’t matter where I go as long as it’s nowhere near you” I walked to the room we shared for the short time we were here and called Queen Tamara, wanting someone to tell what had happened.

Tamara answered so quickly, its like she was waiting for me to call her. She silently listened to everything I said and all my sobbing when I was all finished and after getting it all off my chest she said “Oh my dear child, I will be right there with some of my people to help you pack and leave Cristopher. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you this morning that he wasn’t home all night.” I just continued sobbing and the next thing I knew she was there, and the house was emptied of all my stuff in under 30 minutes and Cristopher was gob smacked. He started trying to get me to take him back saying “I’m sorry. I am so sorry for what I did and what I said was wrong. Please do not leave me. Please forgive me.” As if I would forgive him. It was quite obvious that this was not the first time he had done this, but I was sure this would be the last time he did it to me.

Suddenly there were 3 boys walking in to my old house as if the somehow belonged there. One was shorter than the other two with red hair like fire, he was very skinny and pale and seemed distant, the next was tall and had golden blond hair, he was built like a brick; stocky and strong and you could see his muscles and abs on him through his shirt, he also had perfectly tan skin as if he was kissed by the sun its self. The last was a brunette though his hair was so dark it almost looked black who was the same height and build, he looked almost exactly like the blond standing next to him. I was dumb founded looking at them and their amazing looks and then Tamara was in my ear whispering “The short one is Cameron and he is 19, the blond is Dom and he is 20 and then the brunette is Blair and he is 24” I didn’t know why but they looked furious and were all pulling Cristopher away from me, all while he was still grovelling and then they started beating him! Though not with the strength I had accidently used when I pushed him. Tamara then pulled me away from the scene and out the door to her car and then we were heading back to the castle.

Once everyone had arrived back at the castle, they took my things to a room on the 6th floor near Queen Tamara's and started unpacking my items. While Tamara and I sat in the lounge room near the door then I realised not everyone was back yet, the boys hadn't returned yet and I looked at Tamara with a worried expression and when she saw my face she laughed “They aren't eating him” she said “They are just roughing him up a bit.” I breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed a book off the shelf i saw on the wall when we sat down before I sat down to read. A little while later the boys walked in laughing while saying “Did you see his face when Blair hit him the first time, I thought he was ganna piss himself” and “you really got him a good one Cameron”. Tamara and I walked out, and they shut their mouths faster than I thought possible and looked down. I smiled at them and then Tamara smiled too and said, “Did you have fun?” all three of them looked up though only Blair and Dom had grins on their faces and all at once were saying what they had done to him. Queen Tamara just raised a hand and they shut their mouths again and said altogether said “Sorry mother” I gave her a quizzical look, she smiled and replied “I'm not really their mother though these boys are the only ones who can call me that.” Then she looked at them and smiled “This is Jade, the one I told you about. I want all of you to make her feel welcome and to teach her the ways here.” then she walked away and I was left alone with the boys, 2 of which were looking at me like I was the most beautiful thing in the world while the other just nodded and walked off to god knows where. The two that were left in front of me were Blair and Dom, I smiled nervously and said “Hi and bye” then ran after Tamara and heard as they both finally seemed to breathe again.
