Gates and I go do our own thing while the girls take off. "So this is something I am going to have to get used to now?" Gates questions. "Are your intentions good?" I blink at him. "I let you talk me out of us as a couple last year and it Whitt both parties. I won't do that again." I state hoping she heard every word. The truth is she makes me feel butterflies. Not just any kind of Butterflies but the good kind. The game we are playing is a shooting game my phone pings. And I hit pause and swipe my dads name. "Dad, what's up?" Dad is pissed. "Where the f**k are you?" "I am with friends why?" "Ghost is going down. I need you home in 30 so we can discuss the details on taking them down. My whole drive was hacked they have access to everything." s**t dad is nervous and I guess I should be because I will be taking the reins from him after college. "Can't I have football stuff to look through with the team." I reply. "Fine just be here tomorrow morning." I end the call. "Your dad and Eric's dad are under some fire, Grams is having tea with a Deluca, what the f**k is the stalker up to next how do we find who they are?" Gates tosses out randomly. "I have an idea of who it could be but they are not evil and think quick like that." "Who?" "Annie, I was f*****g her to get some leverage to get her mom to leave my dad and stumbled across a few things when I was using her. Annie has Ghosts phone number. She is the best lead I have. "Row has the number to so." I swallow. "She is always dishing to Ghost." I pop the cap off my water. What does she dish out to Ghost? "She blabbed on me and Jen last year to Ghost and she said she texted them." Two leads now I sit up and think about it what would either of the girls have to gain from being Ghost if they are not Ghost they know how to flush them out. If dad catches wind of this he is going to make me stay with Row and use her. I just have to be careful I guess and make sure not to come across anything. Speaking of Row it has been a couple of hours and I want her back in my lap again. "Eric texted he is on his way." Great now it gets more interesting. What is he going to think of me and Row? What are our dads up to? Fives minutes later I here giggles coming from the kitchen and can't help myself, I pause the game and walk down to the kitchen caveman style and grab my girl and haul her away from Gina. "Hey I have seen her like 10 minutes she pouts. "Gina baby can we try to talk again?" Gates stumbles into the room. "Fine let the new couple be all lovey dovy and me hangout with the guys who tapes me with no clothes." She rolls her eyes. I haul Row up to her room to her bed and tug her down to the pillows with me. "Someone missed me !" She giggles and finally our lips touch again. I pull back and swallow. "I am sorry about earlier Rowie, I just am used to what crap to spew and wasn't thinking. I recover quickly. "Ok, remember we want to this to seem convincing we have to be solid front." Ouch that hurt she thinks this all about image. This may have started that way but now it is about getting my girl back for real and not letting her go. Making her my equal. "Want to have some fun?" She purrs in my ear. Yes I want to have fun but I have to think rationally. "I would rather cuddle and watch our movie." I reply looking for some kind of sign the she sees me as before we broke up. She pecks me and grab our movie and plays it. Danny and Sandy. One on the screen and I know that the butterflies are intensifying. "You are good James I will give you that." "She reaches her lips to mine and sears me with a kiss and leans her head on my shoulder. We watch dirty dancing next and end up napping in each others arms. It just feels right natural. It feels I move to get out from under her when her lap top pings. The sneaky guy says to snoop. The good guy says to leave it alone. The sneaky guy rears his head and beats out he good guy. I pull out the lap top and flip it open. Password protected. Who is messaging her? I see they go by the Judge.What could she possibly know that he wants? I try with her birthday for the password and it doesn't work. She is getting good at the deception I will give her that. "Do why the Judge is messaging you?"She pops her eyes open a yawns. "Yeah he wants Ghost's number." She says flatly. "Do you have it or something?" "I did at one time but the number changes. I was doing some digging for Grams and traded a secret for a secret, because we were constantly going back in forth with info, we traded numbers. "Number expired a month after I had no more secrets to trade. James I had to protect my Grams." After hearing her come clean, I pull her close and kiss her hard."I get it more than you know. I am sorry for getting all bent out of shape." She slides off the bed and treads to the bathroom. I will not f**k us up this time. I chant this in my head as I get up to leave, but glance at another ping and this one is 'Jeraco Valco' and blink. Why would my father be private messaging her of all people? I need to leave the room before my mind takes off all on its own.
