Declan's POV
Elena was crying, my sister was down. Human bullets couldn't harm us. But Mia's condition was beggining to scare me. I should have taken the human out the second she came here. Instead I choose to listen to Elena and spare the agents life. Now, it has come back to bite me.
The world seemed to slow down as Mia crumpled to the floor. My instincts screamed at me to rush to her side, but before I could move, another shot rang out. The bullet whizzed past my ear, embedding itself in the wall behind me.
"Elena, stay down!" I yelled, dropping to a crouch. My eyes darted around the room, assessing the situation. Elena had managed to crawl to Mia and was now cradling her unconscious form. Lucy was nowhere to be seen.
