Chapter 2: She's so Dead !

" A few guards dropped by looking for a runaway witch, I immediately recognized you the moment I set eyes on you" Elisa immediately realized the reason why Cami stopped her from leaving.

" They're far gone by now, I don't see a reason for you to still keep me here " , she still refuses to stay.

" Before you leave , why don't we have that chat. I'll like to make you an offer" . She says with a satisfying smile.

King Ashford, received info from one of he's Eyes that, Niklaus was on his way to the Heist mansion. He suddenly turns pale. A royal visit never happens used the victim or soon to be one is going to end up dead.

" What if he has found out? Could it be . . . No! But. . . ", he says to his personal servant. " Why else would he come here, you have failed me Corner " he looks at the guard in anger.

" We have to do something about that woman, get her out of here , Hurry ! That child must have said something to him " Corner stands still for a while, he's contemplating the best action to take at the moment and King Ashford's actions were a bit too hasty.

" I don't mean to question Your Majesty's orders but I don't think His Highness is aware. If he is, he'll be planning war against us but he's coming with only one servant. I fear we shouldn't do anything drastic to avoid further suspicion, Your Majesty. For all we know he may have deployed spies in advance. I think we should desist from anything that would raise more suspicion", he says head bowed.

" And you need not trouble your heart, we would capture Elisa soon ", he adds.

" You should have mentioned that earlier " , King Ashford sighs, he takes a breath of relief.

He's right, I doubt that arrogant child would come here with a servant and few guards to prove a point. King Ashford says to himself.

He immediately tells Corner to inform the ladies to not be in sight at the arrival of the Alpha.

Corner leaves to spread word

" The Alpha is finally coming ", Natasha yelps in excitement.

" Finally sister, rumors had started to go that His Highness doesn't fancy women ", Tara says waiting for Natasha's reaction. " I mean, he was to choose a bride three years ago but .... " ,she adds.

" Nonsense! Don't say such things about my betrothed. He just want things to go at his pace, I'll just have to wait for father to call on me ", she chuckles in excitement.

Niklaus arrives at the Heist mansion and noticed the security is quite tense especially at a particular corner of the palace. He ignores it and walks into the mansion. King Ashford, stands by the door to welcome him personally.

" Greetings, Your Highness ", he bows . Niklaus ignores him and walks in. Ashford holds in his anger from the embarrassment.

Arrogant brat. oh when I get my hands on that pendant, I'll show you your place.

Niklaus seats without been offered a chair or even wait for Ashford to enter the room. He's clearly disrespecting Ashford, but it doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest. Actually he was really enjoying being worshipped.

Yes. He is Alpha!!!

" How half hearted of you old man, where are the ladies of the house. I expected to be welcomed by a full house but what is this I see here, a bunch of measly oId men you call guards. I'll get straight to the point, your company isn't something I look forward to. I'm here for my mate. Or do you suggest I take you as mate, Ashford?", he says with a mocking smirk, obviously disregarding to accord any form of title to the old man that is probably sweating his pants.

Ashford is stunned for a moment, he found it unwise for them to be seen as it was rumored that Niklaus didn't like women. He even started to believe that Niklaus had no intention of taking a mate.

" My apologies, Your Highness", he asks Corner to bring them in. They all arrive, the two girls and their mother. They all courtesy before him.

Niklaus looks at them but doesn't seem to find the lady that taunts him and hunts his dreams.

" I'm quite sure you have, a third child that goes by the name Elisa or do you also believe I'm unaware. You've been up to a lot lately Ashford. it's got me thinking" Ashford quivers at Niklaus' words and the previously hot room suddenly turns cold but the sweating wasn't getting any less. He looks at Ashford, the irritation evident on his expression.

" Your Highness, she's of no value to you, my older daughter, Natasha skilled and with good manners, she'll make an excellent wife ", he looks at her and notices she had been the one giving him signals since her arrival. He looks at her with disgust.

" I came for a mate, I didn't ask for dead meat. Or would you so love for us to have your precious daughter for lunch ", he says. It is only the Alpha family that is aware of the doctrines of choosing a mate.

Ashford starts sweating profusely, he starts to think of how to tell Niklaus that they have lost hold on the girl, without getting his neck snapped.

" Your Highness, she fled from home ..... Um .... Uh ..... We are currently in pursuit but we'll find her soon enough. But I still have my younger daughter you could take as wife" .

" Ashford, you have 24 hours, to bring her to me ", he gets up and leaves without sparing them another glance. Vatler follows suite.

As he steps out of the mansion, he's head begins to throb in pain. He sees visions of Elisa at Crimson bar.

" That little witch !" , he curses.

Oh she is so dead when I get my hands on her !!!

He enters the carriage and gets ridden to the bar. As he enters, he is quickly irritated by the stench but he moves on. Vatler immediately informs, Camille on his arrival and status. Delighted and not so delighted Camille directs them to a private room.

She is delighted because one, she was definitely going to earn a lot of money but on the other hand she was sure she was going to loose one of her girls. At least one stupid enough to offend the Alpha of Avara nation.

" Your Highness, of what service could I be to you? ", he spares her a glance and she gets frightened. She was hoping he kept his faze than throughout their encounter but all her hopes got shattered the second he lifted his gaze up.

" Bring Elisa to me , your new staff ", Cami is shocked as she doesn't recall any of her girls going by the name Elisa.

Elisa had told her that her name was Alicia, so it was completely normal for her to get confused.

" Apologies, Your Highness but no one goes by the name Elisa. But we do have a new staff. Permit me to bring her to you " , he ignores her but Vatler signals for her to do the needful.

She immediately leaves the room, she would have passed out, if she stayed there any longer. She guides Elisa to the room. Before she lets her in, she warns her to do whatever he says. Elisa opens the door and walks in wearing the warmest smile a run away could use to induce customers.
