Her sad look and yelling quickly got a lot of attention from the people in the cafeteria.
"You always buy common and ordinary things for me, are you so lazy and poor?" She frowned.
"But I got it with a big heart, "Lyon said "What's the use of a big heart if you are lazy and don't even treat me well? Buying only inexpensive things and treating me like a common person, "she said.
She proceeds to bring out the necklace, which looks almost rusty and makes sure people see it.
Many people were now staring at them, and we were laughing, especially at him. He felt so embarrassed.
No matter how he tried to calm his girlfriend down, she just wouldn't budge and said all sorts of things. He felt so humiliated and people's mockery added to his humiliation.
As if that was not enough, she threw the necklace at him and added a few insults to it, saying he must have stolen it and then packaged up such a rusty thing.
To add to this, and if that wasn't enough already, a guy came up to them holding a package in his hands. He's Jasper, by the way. Lyon's biggest bully.
He directly ignored him and gave the package to Benita, who happily unwrapped it. Seeing the expensive jewelry in it, she hugged Jasper tightly, which angered Lyon.
This gesture from her further humiliated him as she was hugging another man right in front of him who was her boyfriend.
"Jasper is so much better than you" Benita suddenly said coldly, while Lyon glared at Jasper angrily.
"What do you mean by he's better? And why are you hugging him? Why are you buying gifts for my girlfriend?" Lyon was pissed off.
"Why are you mad about this? He gave me things you couldn't, and you are mad at him. Are you even a man?" Benita sneered.
"He must be angry that a competent man like me could take care of his girlfriend while he can't and just laze around, so pathetic, "said Jasper with a cold smirk.
Rather than defend him or say anything in his defense, Benita went ahead to support Jasper to humiliate him further.
"You are not seriously a man. Jasper is a better option" she sneered "A better option? What are you trying to say? Are you cheating on me?" Lyon asked in disbelief.
"So? You don't make me happy, so why can't I cheat on you with Jasper? He's a better choice, anyway," she replied, without care.
But when he tried to step back, Jasper directly attacked him, and he was so pissed off that he hit him back, and then it turned into a fistfight.
Benita, seeing this scene, frowned deeply and glared hatefully at Lyon. "Do you know who his family is? Be ready to bear the consequences of hitting him" she yelled.
Lyon didn't seem to hear this, and she screamed again, "Jasper won't let you go so easily, you better let him go, or he's going to make you regret ever being born" and now the whole cafeteria was staring at them.
"Stop hitting him, you are so filthy and dirty how dare you hit a young master like Jasper." Benita tried to stop Lyon by interfering, but she also feared being hit.
"Jasper will settle the score with you. Do you know how rich he is? Unlike you poor thing, let him go, or you will end up in jail for hitting him" Benita screamed like a mad woman.
Lyon finally stepped back while Jasper glared hatefully at him.
His bruised face was filled with so much hate that Lyon could disappear in the next second.
"How dare you hit me." Jasper was so mad that he just wanted to kill Lyon that instant. Benita hurried over to check his injuries with worries written all over her face.
Lyon stared at Benita, who was looking at Jasper's body for injuries, and felt his heart being torn to pieces.
"I will get back at you for this" Jasper didn't forget to throw down these words with his hateful look as Benita helped him out.
After he got to his car, he took out his phone and made a phone call with a malicious expression on his face.
"Tonight," he said those words, then hung up the phone.
