Deep Sleep

Did I slept too much today, because my head is hurting like some one banging iron palte with iron rod.

The weird thing is I want to open my eyes because I know I am awake, but I am not able to open it. It's like someone had glued my eyes with adhesive glue.

whatever I was conplex dreaming last night was ok... I mean it didn't hurt my head like I am experiencing now.

I am conscious, I believe. Beacuse I can sense my surrounding right now. some one is around me playing music, like some kind of soft music. And I believe I know this tune but can't remember its name. I know this music from somewhere..... on thinking hard I think this is the music I heard from someone close to me.

wait....

It's Hayashi. That means now I am out of my weird dream, it's confirm. But why I am not able to open my eyes. I think I shouldn't think hard, I must have been tired due to unknown reason, I should be calm until my eyes open naturally.

'Grandpa, you should have told me if you are coming here, I would have let order cab for you.' Ah.. what he is talking about?

' Hayashi, it's ok, I am not that old to become dependent to just order a cab. Here take it, I have brought you some lunch.' Why would grandpa bring him lunch, that's not like him!'

' T..Thanks grandpa, but you don't have to.'

'Offcourse I have to. You are looking after Akikko without taking any rest... I doubt if you eat properly.'

Wait... Stop right there... what he means that Hayashi is looking after me.

'She is my childhood friend grandpa... I can do only this much as friend to take care of her. God knows... what happened to her, suddenly she is in this condition.'

What condition? I am asking questions to myself, what a waste, I should ask it to them, but why I am not able to?

'I am not getting it, how does she ended up in deep sleep. it's been eight days and no stimulus response is detected from her as doctor said. This girl really make me worry about her... I am getting old.. I should be in her place, but look at her sleeping soundly, without any worries.' Grandpa... you are crying!?

' Grandpa, dont cry, Akikko wouldn't like to see you like this. Doctor said it will take time for her to get better. She is in comatose condition, she is just taking her time to figure herself out with something that is unknown... maybe she was just too stressed to take all the things to her mind. Her dad, you, her mom... it was very heavy for her to take in.' What the heck is going on. what are they talking about? I am getting restless every moment. Am I in hospital? Am I that serious? What happened to me? Why I am breathing heavily? What about eight days here? my brea....thi...ng...

Mom... grandpa... dad. What is going on?

Akikko! Akikko!!

Why am I feeling like someone is trying to wake me up.

Akikko!!! Ah... I felt someone pinched me really hard!!!

An my eyes opened suddenly seeing the bright light in black background.. I think this light is coming from a lamp.

I took time to settle with the surrounding I am in. And I say Maya beside me, her hand was on my hair rubbing it lightly.

'Maya?' Still trying to think clearly. Am I in dream or out of my dream?

'Oh thank god, you woke up. You were breathing so heavily, I was afraid if something is choking you to death.' she gave a heavy sigh of relief.

Oh man I am confuse. But let's settle with the surrounding currently I am in.

'Did you pinch me, or trying to wake me up?'

'No, I didn't. It was you who pinched yourself in sleep, and then you opened your eyes, you woke up on your own. You also did pinched yourself when we were talking about magic, but then after you pinched yourself you got unconscious, I thought you are tired enough to deseve a good sleep so I let you sleep for a while.' She was telling me all this things like it was obvious.

'Ok, I got it, what you are saying. But can you give me something to reduce my headache?' It's same headache when I was dreaming or I say I was not dreaming but in reality I was in comatose. Or whatever it is.

'Yes, I have some herbs it will give you relief with headache, give me a moment I am coming.' And she left the hut in hurry. And at instant she came back.

' Very fast you are.' I commented. in return she just smiled.

she took a tobacco leaf and placed it on my head, after that she light a fire on small stick and start to revolve it around the leaf which was placed on my forehead. I didn't find it weird, because I know this technique used to calm headaches. I learnt it in college few months back. And it is effective though I never tried it, but now I am experiencing it.

she asked me close her eyes and I did. Soon I started to feel very light tobacco smoke lingering around my nose, I was breathing lightly so that not excess smoke can enter my nostrils, as tobacco was one of the health remedy in previous day's, now people use it in harmful way. I don't want to get used to it whenever I have headache of this kind. soon I started to feel calm and at peace.

it was like my all tensions on my muscles, bones, all over body is loosening and calming. But I was able to hear Maya. She asked me to be in that position and rest with not much movement, and she also said that she will come in fifteen minutes with something to eat for me. I murmured a little yes and heard her exiting the hut.

Am I in heaven right now, or in another comatose, but peaceful one.
