“Mirabelle, you deserve to shine,” Zeox said, sensing her disappointment. “I’ll be with you in spirit and we’ll celebrate when you are back home.”
Mirabelle’s heart swelled with love and appreciation for Zeox’s understanding. She walked the red carpet, feeling like a true star, with Zeox’s words echoing in her mind.
After the festival, Mirabelle landed a role in a big budget movie, and her career soared to new heights. Zeox continued to be her rock, supporting her through the chaos.
Precious tried to focus on her own life, but she couldn’t help but notice the way Zeox made Mirabelle laugh. She felt a pang of jealousy, which only added to her confusion.
One day, Precious found herself alone with Zeox in a gathering. They struck up a conversation, and Precious was drawn to Zeox’s charismatic personality. As they talked, Precious felt a spark of attraction, which she quickly tried to dismiss.
But Zeox’s seemed to sense Precious’s feelings, and his gaze lingered on hers for a moment longer than necessary. Precious’s heart skipped a beat as she wondered if she was reading too much into it.
As the days went by, Precious found herself growing more and more conflicted about her feelings for Zeox. She knew that pursuing anything with him would be a betrayal to their friendship, but she couldn’t help the way she felt.
One evening, Precious received a mysterious text message from an unknown number. “Meet me at the park at midnight. Come alone.” The message was cryptic, but Precious’s instincts told her it was from Zeox.
Precious’s heart racing, she debated whether to go. Part of her wanted to confront Zeox about her feelings, and to apologize about what she had done to him at the past, while another part warned her to stay away. Precious’s curiosity got better of her and she chose the wrong way.
Precious decided to go to the park at midnight. As she walked through the dimly lit paths, she saw Zeox waiting for her by a bench. “Precious I’ve noticed the way you looked at me, and I have to admit, I’ve felt it too”.
Precious’s heart skipped a beat Zeox took a step closer at her. She knew she should stop this, but her feelings were too strong to ignore. As Zeox’s words hung in the air, Precious felt like she was melting into his gaze. Zeox took another step closer, his eyes locked on hers.
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, the tension between them palpable. For a moment, Precious forgot about Mirabelle and the potential consequences. All she knew was the thrill of being in Zeox’s arms.
But as the kiss deepened, she knew she had crossed a line, and there was no turning back. As they pulled away, gasping for air “I know I have hurt you then, am sorry for what I did, i still love you” Precious said, seeing the mixture of excitement and guilt in Zeox’s eyes.
As they stood there, trying to shake off the feeling that they had made a huge mistake. She knew that Mirabelle trusted her, and she had betrayed that trust.
Zeox, sensing her unease, took her hand and pulled her closer. “Precious, it’s okay, I will figure it out. We can make this work.”
But Precious knew it wouldn’t be that easy. She had seen the way Mirabelle looked at Zeox, the way she loved him. And she knew Mirabelle would be devastated if she found out about their relationship .
As they stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Precious’s phone buzzed in her pocket. She hesitated for a moment before pulling it out, her heart sinking as she saw Mirabelle’s name on the screen.
“Hey, girl,” Mirabelle said, her voice cheerful. “Just checking in. I was thinking about you and wanted to see how you are doing.”
Precious felt a wave of guilt wash over her. She knew she couldn’t give an answer. “I will call you back later,” she said, trying to sound casual.
But Zeox’s expression told her that he knew she was hiding something. “Who was that?” he asked, his voice low.
Precious hesitated, unsure of what to say. “It was just…….Mirabelle,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Zeox’s eyes locked onto hers, filled with a mix of emotions. “We need to talk about this,” he said, his voice firm.
Precious’s heart sank as Zeox’s words hung in the air. She knew they needed to talk about keeping there relationship private. “We just have to keep it, because of her. I really missed you although you wanted us to break up then because I wasn’t fit as a man right?” Zeox said, his voice firm but paced with a hint of uncertainty. “I know, am sorry, but that’s the past now and we can start a new future together.”
Zeox nodded, his eyes searching hers. “You’re right, we’ll talk about this later, I think is time to go home, let’s me just drop you home.” Precious told him not to worry and would find her way home.
As they parted ways, Precious couldn’t shake off the feeling of the little chemistry they both had together, and the other side feeling that she was living a lie.
Precious and Zeox’s relationship continued to blossom, but the guilt of deceiving Mirabelle lingered. They tried to push the thought away and enjoy each other’s company.
One evening, Zeox surprised Precious with a romantic dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. The sky was painted with hues of pink and orange, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers.
Precious’s eyes sparkled as Zeox took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. They sat down, and the conversation flowed effortlessly, like they were two souls meant to be together.
