I watched his anxious expression, sneering inwardly.
As expected, human nature always revealed itself when interests were involved.
No matter how great the acting skills were, such instinctive emotions couldn't be hidden.
Taking a deep breath, I said, "They warned me that if I can't repay the money on time, they'll make me disappear from this world."
I pretended to be frightened, looking at Leo with pleading eyes.
"I've thought about it for a long time. It seems like the only solution is to give up all my assets to settle this matter. There's no other way."
