...THE GREAT DEBATE AMONGST our leaders, both in government and community, is the everlasting battle between Science and Religion. These enemies who should be allies create a rift between the faithful and the intelligentsia. The clash being that Science and Religion both have their place, but often they don’t, nor should, occupy the same argument. But there are those of us who will not bow down to this heretical chess match. Just as the 199th Pope, Innocent VI passed between the fires to purify his air of the plague—I have walked through the fires to the other side of knowledge.
