He thanked the driver for the free fare and let his eyes adjust from the fluorescent lights of the bus to the darkness of the unfamiliar neighborhood. The wide sprawl of the Los Angeles Metro Area offered plenty of stomping grounds and living on the streets gave him plenty of time to explore.
