I woke up immediately as I heard a knock on the door,I stood up and check the time it's 10:15am,
“wow,I really slept in,I guess I was really tired yesterday to wake up this late”i said
Then I went to open the door,it was Esmeralda standing
“Good morning,I'm sorry it took me a while to get the door” I said
Esmeralda smiles
“Good morning Tritania, this is your roommate, explain everything about the college to her”Esmeralda said
Then Esmeralda left,I quickly went to meet her
“Miss Esmeralda,I'm very sorry about yesterday,how we questioned you about your personal affairs”i said
“Don't worry dear,just take care of your roomie okay?”she said
“i will,bye ”
Then I went back to my room
“Hi,ehmmm what's your name” I said
She didn't reply,is she ignoring me?...
“Hello!!!,can you hear me”
“I'm sorry,I'm just nervous I didn't hear you the last time” she said
“Ohh no need to apologise,my name is Tritania and I also just got here yesterday,so I know how you feel” I said
“Ohh really,my name is Flora,I'm a fairy”
“Yes I noticed the wings at your back,they are sparkly,silver colour”i said
“what kind of monster are you” she asked
“I'm a vampire don't be scared I don't bite” I said smiling,she smiled back
“Really ?”she said
“Well I spent 17years in the muggles world,I never took human blood, just mostly rabbits,and I can eat other foods though” I said looking at her
“Wow,I spend just my first five years at muggles world,until my wings started showing” she said
“Why did you choose this college”i asked
“Well I spent my highschool in fairytopia highschool, everyone was a fairy so I decided I'll love to mix with other monsters”she said
“wow,that's nice flora”i said
“what about you,why not a vampire school?”she asked
“Well I have a best friend he is a werewolf,I didn't want to separate from him so we chose a general monster college”i said
“a were..ehm a werewolf?” she said looking terrified,I can feel her emotions I can feel she's really scared
“yes he is a werewolf,very nice”i said
“ohh!”she said in a depressing tone and she sat on her bed
I went beside her bed and knelt down close to her
“Are you scared of werewolves?”i asked
“yea”she said
“why?”i said
“My dad was killed by one when i was 12”she said
“Ohh my,ohh goodness, I'm sorry for your loss”i said
“But do you know something I learnt from the muggles,there are good ones and bad ones,so also in the monster world,there are good fairies and bad fairies also same applies for werewolves,but trust me my bestie is a good one,he is very cheering and he doesn't change to a werewolf due to some reasons”i said
She smiled,
“I never told anyone about this,not even my bestie in highschool I don't know why I told you,I just trust you,and you seem really nice” she said
“Thanks,have you had breakfast,or do you wanna have breakfast with me and Max”i said
“i have eaten already,”she said
“i will go shower,if you need snacks reach for the little fridge,” I said pointing at the fridge in the room
“ohh,thanks you're ready kind” she said
I took a quick shower and came out
“then Max knocked the door”
“hey, Tania open the door,”he said
“Flora, i'm still dressing could you please open the door for Max"i shouted from the tiny closet
She opened the door,
”Hey,but who are you,I've not seen this face in this room before“Max said
”I'm flora,Tritania's roomie“flora said
”Ohhh,you're a fairy,that's nice,where is Tania?
Max asked
“she is dressing”flora says
I came out of the closet
Max why do you keep coming early“i asked
”i came for breakfast,and I love eating your food“he said smiling
”durrr!!,why won't you like it,I did some hotdogs you can have some“i said
”Flora can you see Max is not bad or scary,“i said
”yea,I'm not scared after you talked to you Tania“flora said
”Can I call you Tania instead of Tritania?, i notice Max calls you Tania because you are really close,I'll love to be close with you guys“ Flora said
”Of course you can, would you like some hotdog“i asked
”yes,I'll love it“she said
”can you tell me more about this college“she asked
”i also don't know much,just the library,forbidden library, forbidden forest, bookstore,school hall and that's all“ I said
”Ohh, Esmeralda already told me about that“ Flora said
”Have you gotten your time table and bought your needed books“ I asked
”yea I have“
”you guys are not even talking to me“Max says
”so flora welcome to our pack“Max said
”Max why don't you turn to a wolf,it's been long I've seen one“flora asks
I shouted NO, Max mustn't shift to a wolf
”why?“she asked
”should I let her know,she's our new friend?“i asked Max,he just left without a word
”did I say anything wrong“flora asks
”No you didn't,last year on Max's eighteenth birthday,he shifted to a wolf and lost control,he destroyed a lot of things even killed a muggle and ran away from home,we searched for Max for a week until we found him,he had been a wolf for a week,he couldn't change back,that was the scariest moment of his life,I was so scared thinking that I've lost my friend,I held him since he only allowed me to touch him,I touched and talked to him alone,I looked into his eyes and said everything will be fine,even though I didn't believe myself I kept crying and then I stopped and I realized Max changed back,ever since then Max doesn't change with the fear he might kill someone and might never change back,so when you asked him to change to a wolf it made him remember his past“
”i'm so sorry, Tritania I didn't know“ Flora said
”no biggie,“i said
I left the room and knocked at Max's door
”max open the door,I have something to say “i said
He opened the door,I was surprised cause I was expecting him to ignore me
I entered his room and close the door
”whats wrong?,I know you're scared but that's the past,we would get over it,I'll always be here for you Max, I'm not Happy when you're sad“i said
”he hugged me and said“what will I do without you”
His blue eyes looks even more blue as I stare at him,his nose is puffy,his eyes are swollen looks like he's been crying since he left
I laid him down and said
“I'll be back by lunch time,we could all eat at my room with Flora,she's very sorry for hurting you”i said smiling
“i always feel better when you smile”he said laughing
“stop teasing me,I don't like it”i said
I stayed with him until he fell asleep,I left his room and went to my room
“hey” I said to Flora,who was feeling down,I just felt it
“hey,I'm really sorry about Max,I don't think he will like me because of what I said”she said
“No Max isn't like that,when he comes just don't say anything referring to him changing to a wolf,by lunch time I'll wake him up and we could all go to the cafeteria,I don't even have any idea where it is or what kind of food is served”i said
Flora and I discussed about her life style and I realised she is a very loyal and trustworthy person,for a reason I feel I can trust her,even though we just met today,she seems very cool
We didn't even know it time has already passed when Max came to knock the door
Flora went to open the door,and she gave a slight smile
“come in”she says
“You guys just forgot about me,I'm hungry, really hungry”Max said rubbing his tummy
“Yea so are we,well we could go down stairs and ask around for where the cafeteria is located” I said
“this college is huge,it will take me months to figure out everywhere”Flora said laughing
We headed out and locked the door,we entered the elevator and realized there is another button in the elevator the zero button
“i can't see any button”Max said
“really, you can't see the 0 button”i said
“yea,I also can't see it,”Flora said
“why can I only see the button”i said
“is that a new power to see things others can't see”Max whispers
“Other powers,do you have another power”Flora asked
“Kinda...I have weird powers other vampires don't have”i said
“ohh no” she said
“whats ohh no Max asks”
“nobody must know about this,my greatgrandma has told me about vampires who have strange powers but they're legends,some say its a myth,like they could fly,see the unseen,the have venomous tongue that kills instantly and they are very powerful but she said that the last venom vampire was corrupted,his name is Vlademel "she whispers his name
"and that happened like 1000years ago and killed thousands and millions of monsters and humans before my grandma was born since then there hasn't been a venom vampire” Flora said
“ohh,”Max says looking at me
“do have any of those powers”Flora asked
“I have some,I can feel emotions,have a venomous tongue and I can see a button in the elevator nobody can see”i said
“but my grandma said there were only male Venom vampires existed,you're like the first female,but nobody must know about this not even the teachers,my grandma said the venom vampires are very powerful if they are known a lot of monsters will want you dead or might use your powers for evil”she said
“really,you know a lot about venom vampires” I asked
“no that's all I know my grandma said there is a book about them but nobody has seen the book since like never,and ...”max interrupts her
“girls we could talk about this later,we need to find the cafeteria I'm really starving,we've been standing in the elevator for more than 20mins” he said pointing at his watch
“Werewolves really love foods”Flora said
“i knew from the beginning when I chose this college I'll have a lot of adventure,I'm really glad I'm your friend,we could try to find more answers to your powers”she said and she hugged us
“i am not happy,I really want to eat”max said with a puppy eyes
I pressed the 1 button in the elevator it took a while before we got to the first floor since we are in floor 23*
We got to the first floor and I said“why don't we ask the receptionist for where the college cafeteria is situated”i said
“did you say situated, nobody says situated anymore”Max says smiling
“i will bite your head off silly puppy”i said to Max
Flora was just giggling
“you two are really funny” she said
We walked to the receptionist M.Elvis
“hi Elvis sir,can you point us to the direction of the cafeteria?” I said
“ohh,well I can,student always ask that,just after you leave the college building you move a bit forward then take a left turn then another left turn just up ahead that is one of the cafeterias” he said
“one of the cafeteria ”i asked
“yes we have 12 cafeteria, remember we have a lot of student here,”Elvis said smiling
We followed his instructions and found the cafeteria
“i can't believe there are 12 cafeterias and it's really hard to just find one” I said
Max went to order our food while we sat on the chair,then he order and come back
“they sell burgers here,and even pizzas,I wasn't surprised when I saw eyeball soup”Max said
“Yuck!!!eyeball soup,which eyeball did they use”i asked
“i don't know what kind of eyes they use,but I order a glass of blood for Tania,juices for flora and I and we share a pizza” Max told us
We ate and went back to our various room,the foodbwas enough to take us through out the rest of the evening and night
