“Toby!” Jack bellowed from across the field. He pointed with two fingers toward Toby on the end. “Shift!”
Toby shifted to his wolf. The four of them stood in a line. Toby, Ayanne, Brandon, and Zuri.
Zuri finally agreed to try and shift. All she had were the sounds of her wolf’s voice in her head and some feeling of her moving about, but she had not wanted to even try to shift until now.
Toby’s large wolf materialized and Jack pointed to Ayanne the same way he had Toby. “Shift!”
Ayanne gave up all control, letting her own wolf come forward and shift.
Jack pointed to Brandon. “Shift!”
Brandon and Toby always had this roar when they shifted like they had something to prove. Brandon roared like he was a lion up for show. Maybe it was an Alpha thing, since Jack did it, too. Rega
