This was adorable.
They made a little chain. She and Brandon were on the ends with the kids between them, everyone linked together.
“You think this is going to be scary for them, Brandon?” The hay maze thing has zombies and zombie hunters in it. Zuri saw some go in with (hopefully) fake guns and one with a blood covered ax.
“The twins have seen worse and my sister will be fine,” he assured her. He sent her a wink.
How was is things turned out so… perfect? A month ago, she would have sworn she would never see him again. Not to mention, she didn’t think they’d be here. Happy.
Not arguing. No secrets. Nothing.
They made it up to the entrance before hearing Toby call after them with Ayanne under his arm.
Carter also came up with his brother and Elianna. Zuri smiled seeing her.
