Edgar was a fast guy and sneaky as f**k.
Every time Achak caught up to him, Edgar somehow slipped out of reach. If anything, though, he knew he was being hunted. Maybe it was good enough for now, knowing he wouldn’t come close to the girls so long as they stayed home.
Maybe they should bring Brady in on it. Jack knew the guy didn’t like being away from his daughter long, but if he was serious about Lauren, he might consider staying with her for now.
Ultimately, it was up to him.
Jack chased Edgar about three states away on four legs before he stopped and considered heading back.
