2. D day

Karmin's POV

Itwas D day and there was utter chaos as omegas are running left and right making sure everything was ready and done for whe the Royals arrived. I had just spoken to Hailey, and we had gone over the plan of meeting the King and Queen at the pack boundary and lead them to the new Bay Moon Mansion. "As I said we will meet them at the gates and I will take lead and guide them to the mansion... At least this way we can get the whole white wolf thing out the way." "Yes Alphaaa" I looked up from my paper work and sigh at the woman I front of me... "Hailey I am warning you now. Not as your best friend but as your Alpha. DROP THE SHITTY MOOD!!" We can not leave the lands because that mutt will use it as an excuse to attack our pack! Do you really want innocent pack members killed by him because they chose to stay than to leave with him?!?"

She kept quiet. She knows just as well as I do that he would go for his old pack members first. He said as much after I won the challenge and so far he has made good on that promise every chance he has gotten. She took in a deep breath and looked at my Gamma Liam for some help but found that he was too busy looking at the bird out side my window... She sighed. " I know, I am sorry Alpha, I guess this is also just a big deal for me as well. Not only does the largest pack next to the Royals has Female Alpha but a Female Beta as well... A Beta needs to be able to step in when the Alpha needs it and give sound advice when called for... I just don't want to fail you or our pack." "And you think that by constantly questioning me about this topic and disagreeing with me on this is not doing just that! I know you have just been the sole Beta now for the past month but that does not mean you have to disagree with me on the first order of business we have together!" I yelled. I sounded like a spoilt little girl to be honest but I didn't need her sh** about this right now.

Just then my Delta mind linked me that they had picked up the King and Queen and were on their way back to the pack house. "Just the King and Queen?? what happened to the Prince ... I thought he was coming to make sure the place was ready for the Alpha meeting?!" I was p****! Since I found out that I would be hosting the Alpha meeting this year, I've had email after email from his Royal jack a** telling me what he expects and how the events should be played out... For Months!!!! It was one of the reasons why the Royals were coming to visit before hand, so they could see how I've transformed the pack lands this past 6 months and of course hear before everyone else the story about what had happened.

Liam noticed my eyes and realized that my wolf was about to just take over. " Um Alpha, Hailey and myself have things covered here why don't you go relax and take your time getting ready." " Actually everything is all ready for you. Bath has been run and there is some snacks in your suite and once you are done your can get started on your next addition there will be more than enough time to have your tattoo done and have it healed." with that my eyes snapped back tot heir normal brown... Hailey always knew just how to calm my wolf down.. just a hot bath and a new tattoo and she is practically a puppy.

I:Oh please... don't pretend that you aren't excited that they got as a tattoo appointment.

K:Of coursing excited! I just can't believe that all it flippen takes thats all! this prince has been cr***g on us for weeks about everything and now he isn't even coming.... how come you aren't still angry with him?

I:Oh no reason little human. he will make it up to us I am sure of it.

K:sure if you say so

And with that I put up the block between my wolf and myself. I thank both Hailey and Liam and ask them to keep me up dated with the Royals where abouts. I look at the clock on my bedroom wall... it was after 9:00am which meant I really didn't have a lot of time to get ready.. So because I knew I would need some time for my tattoo I opted for a shower instead of a bath. I mind liked Matt our tattoo artist to get ready as I won't be long to which he replied yes Alpha.

I stood in the shower with the hot water falling down on me and I couldn't shake the sinking feeling in chest at the news that the Prince was not coming... I felt.. so... hurt?! What the hell!! So I pulled down the block I had put up between my wolf and myself..

K:Isabella? I need to ask you something please and I need an honest answer.

I:Oh look who wants to speak to me... hmm sure Karmin what is it you need?

K:Are we going to meet our second chance mate at this Alpha meeting?

I:Karmin you know I would never lie to you. To be honest I don't know. The Goddess did say to me that we would have two mates in our life time one for a short period while the other would be with us for a very long time but as to when we would meet these mates that I do not know.

K:hmm ok. I just can't help feeling so sad and angry that the Prince is not coming this week.. I know he has a lot to prepare for but still I thought he would come.. I guess we will just see.

I:I guess so. Don't forget I'm right here with you.

And with that she put up the block. We both needed just some moments of relaxation and besides she hates the tattooing needle. I quickly jump out the shower and dress in just shorts and a top. I walk over to the adjoining room where Matt is all ready and waiting to get started. I sit down and mindlink one of the omegas to please come in and help with my makeup. I normally do it my self but I need to hurry and I can't do it while my wrist is being tattooed.

Matt turned and placed the stencil and asked if I liked it. I took one look and became instantly excited to see the finished product. Just as Matt started Lily came into the room with what looked like a whole cosmetic store, set up and turned to ask me what look I would like for this afternoon. I told her just something simple as my outfit is a mix between casual and a pant suit. With both Matt and Lily satisfied I close my eyes and focus on slowly healing so thatatt has time to complete my tattoo.

After what felt like forevvvver (which was only 30mins) both Lily and Matt tell me I'm done. I open my eyes and let out a small sigh, which my wolf took as to heal my wrist. I look down and I can't believe how amazing my tattoo looks. I look up at Matt with a wide smile "Matt I absolutely love it" I know I chose it but still he does such amazing work. Lily looks at me all excited, "ok ok lovely tattoo my Alpha but please come look at my beautiful handy work" she says well gently pulling me towards the mirror. I took a look at myself and I gasped just a little. "omg Lily... I mean wow I look amazing and I mean how did you do my eyes like that? I mean wow."

Lily stood there with a huge smile on her face. "Actually I think your talents are wasted in your current position. I know you were the one who picked out my outfits for this week. I'm changing your position to my personal stylist and makeup artist.. scratch that Hailey would be so angry if I kept you all to myself. I am making you the personal stylist to Hailey, Liam and of course to our future mates and families if they wish." Lily just stood there with her mouth open. "Alpha I-I-I don't know what to say... are you sure that's what you want me to do? I mean I am beyond honored but I'm not 18 yet and -um" "So what if you aren't 18 yet? you have finished high school a year a head because thats how clever you are... You will need to speak to your parents about it as well as you will required to move into the pack house so that you are here for us when we need. I'll go over the finer details tomorrow. But now I must change and go meet the King and Queen." "Thank you Alpha I'll speak to my parents this evening about it... Thank you so much!" She ran up and hugged me which I returned and left to go get dressed. I smiled once time before I get ready.
