Anton turned to face it. The Blue Demon held a short sword and a shield. It slashed the spear aside and cut the tip completely off. Anton gasped but quickly recovered. He swung the shaft like a bat. The pole cracked the blue Demon in the sword hand, knocking the weapon free. The sword bounced off the Ramp and dropped to the cavern floor, far below. The Blue Demon rammed its shield into Anton. The blow knocked him to the edge of the Ramp. He fell over the edge but caught himself on a jutting rock. He was breathless and stunned. The Blue Demon stood over him, about to drive its hairy, clawed foot into his face. Chris sprang forward. He speared the Blue Demon deep in the back.
