I grin. “Good boy.” Then turn and climb back into the car. Mira stares at me as I pull the door shut. “Wow. I thought you were actually going to get down with him.” I buckle my seatbelt and look at her. “Oh please. The man smelled like expired pepper soup.” She bursts out laughing. “Start the engine,” I tell her. She presses the accelerator just as the guard drags the gate open and we drive into Crystal High. ********* ~SARA~ Forty-five minutes. That’s how long we’ve been driving around this place. Crystal High is enormous. The buildings lines endlessly under the night lights. Lecture halls, dorms, laboratories, sports arenas. A stranger would mistake it for a small town. I cross my arms and glare at Mira. "We’ve been driving forever. Do you still remember where the alley is?”
