Aurora’s POV
“The darkness will be settling soon, and so should we,” he said as he pulled Pika’s reins right to get him off the road.
“But there is nothing around us,” I pointed out.
“I know, we will have to sleep outside tonight,” he explained. “We will find a sheltered place, yet open enough for us to make sure that we won't get attacked like last time.”
“Do you think that they are still after us?” I questioned as I looked around trying to see if I could see anything lurking around us.
I knew it was stupid because had there actually been someone then one out of two things would happen. One, we would have already been attacked, and two, if they were there my untrained eye wouldn’t have been able to see them.
