Amanda finished her job on time and when it was time for her to leave, she called on Mason to drop her off. He left what he was doing, and with a smile on his face, he ambled towards her. She clutched her bag tightly as she peered at the counter, trying to see if she hadn't forgotten anything. “What is it?” Mason asked, his deep blue eyes searching her features. Amanda creased her brows as she took her gaze to him. Forcing a smile on her face, she answered, “It's nothing.” “Can we go now?” She asked, and he nodded before grabbing his car key. Amanda looked up at the wall clock. She gasped when she noticed how dark it was outside.
