At the hospital ~~~
As the paramedics rushed Adrian to the operating unit, Amanda's anxiety grew.
Charlotte, Mason, and some others were at the waiting room, hoping there weren't any complications
Amanda couldn't sit. She paced frantically, her face masked with regret.
She was far from consolation. If anything happens to Adrian then she would be at fault. The girls who hated her would hate her more than before
She hoped that Adrian would recover. When thoughts about Adrian being lame, came to her mind, she shut her eyes and hoped that it wasn't true.
She's heard of so many complications attached with bike racing. Most of them end up on wheelchairs and some of them are unable to continue racing.
She doesn't want that to happen to Adrian…no not her Adrian.
The wait was agonizing
