Crossing back over the patrol line is not as easy as it was the first time, but we didn't expect it to be. We knew we had been extremely lucky the first time to find such a weak link.
Aniu and I spent a full week watching the patrols in the area to get an understanding of their paths and schedules. The patrol in this area had a much stronger presence and was guarded by more experienced shifters.
We couldn't assume, from the heavier presence of guards, that tensions were high between Onyxmane and Highmoon because this stretch of border had towns close on either side. Everywhere else along their border, the towns were further in and were easily reached by forces from other areas.
