I made sure to log myself out of any accounts set up on Oli's laptop knowing I would be leaving tonight while they were out patrolling. These guys didn't know much, but I at least had enough information to confirm that there was friction between the two packs.
I took a long nap on the couch in the afternoon so I could be well rested when I left tonight. It was a risk because any of the guys could have come out to the common area and see me in this vulnerable position. However, I knew I could defend myself if it came to it.
As the guys slowly started waking up and moving around the public spaces, I was sitting on the couch reading. I wanted to seem relaxed, like I was winding down for the night. Oli and I ate together while I updated him on the message I received from my fake cousin.
