“you never told me anything?” she asked worriedly.
“I wasn’t sure in myself. I even went to see you for myself after I was back in the country after a business trip but then I got to know that you left the hospital.”
“they would have told you where I was.”
“I got scared of actually seeing you and that it would make me stand on the point exactly where I started, so instead I tried forgetting about you and suddenly your dreams stopped.”

“do you have this?” I asked showing him my locket that was hanging on my neck.
“yes, I had that. I was told that when I was left in the orphanage it was with me. So, I never kept it away. But then I lost it the time I traveled to New York to see you I couldn’t find you nor the locket.”
