Today I decided to take Ren with me for some shopping. He hasn't been out much. We went for a walk sometimes but other than that we haven't been to many places.
We went to a toy store nearby. It was fifteen minutes away from our home.
I wanted to buy some toys for Ren. We went inside the store. I settled him in a cart.
I knew he liked balls. So I took him to the aisle which had many balls all of different sizes and designs. Some of them had LEDs in them. Some were stuffed and some were rubber balls. Ren is really smart he smiled whenever I passed from a ball he liked he started moving his hands in its direction and smiled. At first, I didn't understand why he smiled so suddenly.
I put some rubber ball, one stuffed ball, and one plastic ball in the cart. I was looking for some light balls when I saw that Ren was playing with a rubber. He had a ball in his hand and he was trying to squeeze it with his small hands. I saw him doing it a few times but then I turned and started looking at the balls again. Suddenly I heard a voice as if someone threw a ball. I turned back to see that Ren threw the ball against the floor and when it bounced back he caught it. He literally caught it. It seemed impossible, it felt like I am being paranoid. A one-year-old couldn't catch a ball. But then he did it again. I got so nervous and worried at that time that I paid for them and quickly came back to home.
At a moment It felt like an illusion but I saw it happen twice. Maybe I am thinking too much. Maybe it's not too impossible to do. Maybe some other kids can do this as well. I should not be too worried. I'm sure it is nothing big. I tried to convince myself that what I saw was normal.

Somewhere in Japan
"They will be a year old soon. Their life will change. So does their body. They won't be able to hide their powers. Their parents can feel that something is Strange with their kid. What if someone knows it. Their life will be in danger. We did so much to protect them. It should not be ruined." The man said.
"I know your worry, that is the reason I wanted them to be adopted by someone who can never disown them. Who has been through the pain of losing a child? I know they love him. They need Ren and Hiro in their lives. They will have to accept their fate. And if something goes awry I'll have to kill them. Nothing should happen to my kids. I won't let that happen even if I have to be a murderer for that." The woman replied.
"What if they don't know about their powers? They won't get hurt then." The man asked concerned.
"You think that is even possible. Your mother was a human and my father was a human. We didn't have pure blood. We can suppress our powers until adulthood. But they have both of our blood. They are pure-blooded. They won't be able to do it. Don't you remember what happened when they were born? We barely contained their powers by separating them. They are twins even if we separated them so their powers never intertwine. But we know they are still connected. The older they get the stronger their power will be. We have to look out for them."
"So what do you think we should do? Should we talk to their foster parents? We can convince them and tell them the truth."
"How can you say that? If they found out the real reason, why we gave them away for adoption do you think their life will be the same? If they accept them, They have to live like us. Running away from life. Away from everyone they love. I don't wish that for them or anyone. We just have to make sure that our kids are safe with them. I think we have to look out for them in the shadows at least until they are adults. Until they understand their blood. And most importantly Ren and Hiro should never meet each other. If that happens our sacrifice will be for nothing. Our family will know about their existence." The woman said.
