"Yeah sure, I'll bring them to you once I copy them from the computer." She assured me. I wanted to try something to test the theory of that book so first I went to my locker room to take my doctor coat and ID card. after wearing my coat I went to the morgue. If I can revive a dead human then the best place to test it will be the morgue. The morgue was on the tenth floor of the hospital. Only authorized personnel can access the doors to enter it. I entered it with my card. Some bodies were pending for autopsy. Somewhere inside I knew that reviving someone can be a big risk but if that is true I can be helpful for someone in the future. I can be a doctor that can actually save someone dying. I started looking for a body that I can test on. Out of Many bodies there some were known to me. There was a body of a man who died in a road accident. He was on the bike when his bike collided by a high-speed truck. He died on spot from internal Brain injury. His parents claimed the accident to be planned by some of their rivals. They wanted to run an autopsy on him. He died yesterday. He was the only son, I saw his parents crying in front of my eyes. I can help them if he revives. I went near the body and removed his cover. The room was chilly. His body was all blueish. I removed my pocket and put it in my coat and they removed my coat and put it on a stool nearby. My body was shaky. I don't know if it was from the low temperatures because of the locket. I still calmed myself. I remember last night when I touched the hand of that patient I felt some kind of shock and I fell unconscious. It shouldn't happen this time. I took the stool and kept it near myself and the body. then I took the locket out of the coat and put it over it so I can grab it quickly. It was at my arm's length. I grabbed the hands of that boy. But strangely I didn't feel anything that I Felt yesterday. I did that again and again. But nothing happened even after trying five times. I couldn't understand what is wrong this time. Or maybe I am just paranoid. How can something like this actually happen? But there was still hope somewhere, no matter how ridiculous it sounded. I still wanted to try it on someone else. But this time I thought about trying on someone old, like the patient yesterday. I looked for a suitable body. And soon I found it. It was of an old lady, maybe around sixty. I again did the same thing. The locket was again at my arm's length. I again hold her hands but still, nothing happened. No feeling no sensation nothing. I thought about leaving the morgue and dropping this ridiculous test at least for the moment. But when I was about to exit the Morgan. I saw the diener coming inside with another dead body. "Doctor Salvador, what are you doing in the morgue. Are you looking for the autopsy report you asked me about yesterday? I gave it to Ms. Johnson, you can take it from her." He said to me. "No, actually I was looking for the dead body of the patient who died from the neck injury two days back, on Wednesday. He was strangled to death. Do you have his reports ready? The police want the report." I told him an excuse to hide the real purpose of my visit. "It's ready, I'll bring them to you in a minute." He said. "Who died? Whose body is it?" I asked him. "It is a girl around eighteen. She had a brain tumor. She died just now. Her parents claimed the hospital ran malpractice on her. They wanted us to perform an autopsy on her." He told me. Yesterday the patient I revived died just a moment before, so maybe someone who died not too long ago can be revived again. I should test it again, one last time.
