The whole day went by pretty fast. I had two operations as a leading doctor and one was as an assistant. It was evening already when I got done with the last which means I can now go home. I wrapped up my stuff and soon as the doctor at night shift reported, I left the hospital. It was seven by the time I came out to my car. I was really tired today. And starving, very!! I didn’t have had a proper meal in the whole day today. I just ate a protein bar that I found lure in my bag. I am usually a big eater and something as mere as a bar can't fill me up. Five may do, but not one. Uh!! I decided to stop by a diner on the way before reaching my apartment to have my dinner so I can just go back to the apartment and sleep. I don’t have any energy left by the end of the day to do much. Specially cooking. Operations are exhausting. Lucy’s Diner My regular dinner spots. I come here at least two to three times for dinner. And yes, lunch is excluded. Sometimes I get a takeaway for lunch. It was a posh site for many youngsters and couple to visit these days. This place is very SNS worthy. It is very hard to get table here, especially on weekends. But thankfully I have a friend who is a head chef here. He was my patient actually, I treated him when he got injured in the kitchen by accident. But with time that he spend at the hospital we grew as friends. He is very kind-hearted. We have totally opposite personalities even though we are of same age. He is over friendly and joyful. He likes breaking the rules and is lively all the time. Not at all serious and boring. He is bright as a sunshine. I like talking to him, he makes me feel comfortable when I am with him. I asked him to book a table for me and he obviously did that. ‘Always the best!!!’ After I met him, my personality took a big shift. I became more comfortable in showing my emotions now. I parked my car and stepped in that heaven of coolness and chaos. Bright and funky. Black and colourful. The diner is completely opposite to the dull boring and chaotic hallways of the hospital. Every time that I am here, I suspiciously feel at easy. It was a mixture of modern and retro interior here. It showcases the love for cars that Josh had. He was the owner too. There were rimes and tyres on the walls, hanging. Recycled as lamps on the corner. They were painted metallic silver to match the metal vibe of the place. The chairs will remind you to the car seats, tables were round similar to a steering wheel, with glass top and the serving dishes were pretty pink and purple cars itself. Apparently, this place is hugely popular on social media for the unique concepts. Many influencers and food photographers are regulars here. Josh himself have thousands of followers too. Finding my table, I settled on it. For the dinner I ordered tomato shrimp pasta and banana split sundae to fill up on my carbs. *
