MY FRIEND "Hello Marc, I'm at the sunrise cafe. Where are you guys? It's already three-thirty. Come fast I have to rush back to the hospital." I Barked at mar, he always makes me wait. I hate it about him. "I'm really sorry Ren. Actually, Emma is not feeling well, so I took her to the hospital. We won't be able to make it today. I'm really sorry. Doctors are saying that her condition is bad. They will admit her for a day or two." Marc said on the phone. He sounded worried. "Oh, is she really that serious? She was fine two days ago. I talked with her. Should I come, you need help?" I asked concerned. "No, it's fine. You have to travel back to New York. You'll be late. You go on, I'll handle it." He said and disconnected the call. I thought since I am in this restaurant for this long, I might have something too. I ordered a cup of cappuccino with no cream. The coffee came and I started sipping on it. * "I won give me my hundred bucks." I heard a familiar voice from behind. I turned around to see where it was coming from. I turned around to see Marc and Emma standing behind me. Marc was giving a hundred dollar bill to Emma. "What are you guys doing here. Shouldn't you two be at the hospital?" I said with a little anger and irritation in my voice. "We had a bet in between us," Emma said. "Firstly we just wanted to prank you, by lying that I am at the hospital. But then we had a bet. Emma said that you will stay back at the restaurant and order something for you after we canceled our plans. And I said that you will go back to New York. And clearly, she won." Marc said. "So you guys were here all this time?" I asked. "We were watching you," Emma said. "You guys will never grow up. Still playing such stupid pranks. For this stupid prank, you guys wasted forty-five minutes. And I have to leave in fifteen minutes. You who do you think is more stupid?" I said in a taunting tone. "We've already ordered our coffee and you have it too. So we can talk while we are drinking it." Emma said. "The prank wasn't completely a lie. We actually went to the hospital. Emma was not feeling well for some days. So we went to pay a visit to check her up. We were late because of that. I'll make it up to you." Marc said calling for a waiter. He said something to the waiter and then the waiter left. "What did you order? I am so full. I can't eat anything." I said. "Wait and you'll see." He said. After a while, the waiter came with something in his hands. He served us, one each. It was a cake. But it looked different than any I've had yet. It looked like a ball. He left after serving us.
