Chapter 14Sukanya woke up with a start. She pulled herself up on one elbow and her head bumped the underside of a desk. She wiggled out from under it and sat up.
Beside the desk, two sets of headphones hung from the wall. Sukanya leaned back and her head hit a guitar hanging on the wall behind her. It clanged a random discord. The rest of the wall was entirely covered with clothing on hangers slung over small hooks, neat but near collapse. Sukanya pulled the blanket onto her lap and tried to wake up.
