He was about to drive through his pack. The wolfen realm was 3 hours behind the human realm. So it was only 5 pm here. He mind linked his father.

"Hello son, how was the ball?"

Good, could you discreetly gather his children he needs to speak to them privately.

"Yes, is this what I think it is?"

Most likely, he'll be 10 minutes. He'll meet you in his office. Jack exhaled.

"It will be fine," Val said.

He hopes so. They arrived at the pack house. Terry, can you sort this out, and he'll initiate later.

"What would you like me to tell them?" Terry asked.

The truth. He has a new mate, and he needs to explain this to his children a sensitive subject. Terry nodded. He headed for his office. He opened the door to his father and his children.

By the look on Sutton's face, she knew. Sapphira and Sawyer came running at him. Screaming Daddy. He missed you all.

"How was the mating ball?" Sutton grated out, not happy at all.

"You don't have a new mark," Sawyer asked.

"Who is she?" Sutton asked.

Her name is Quinn. She comes from a long line of elite war generals. She's 30. She has long blonde hair blue eyes. About your height, Sutton. She seems nice, tough, and friendly. He's told her about you. She is also wolfless.

"What's that?" Sawyer asked.

It means she never received a wolf, so she can't shift, but it doesn't hold her back.

"Why haven't you marked?" Sutton asked.

Well, he's her first mate. She's never lived anywhere else. We are going to take it slow and get to know each other. We aren't rushing anything.

"When is she coming?" Sutton asked.

He called the bank and ordered a Quinn pack card. He mindlink his head omega and make sure her suite is ready with food, etc. He let his gate guard know the car make and registration of Quinn car for tomorrow.

He received a call from Mystic Moon pack. He thought it was Alpha Lutton, but it was, in fact, Quentin Hilton. War general. What can he do for you?

"I want to apologise for my behaviour . It wasn't very welcoming you to the family. I have nothing against you. I just want the best for my daughter. She hasn't had the easiest time growing up."

"If I'm honest, I left her to date Julian because it kept her safe and unbuilled for being wolfless. I'm sorry. She is coming to your pack, and she will happily put you in your place. She will make a good mate, luna, and step mom," he said.

Well least that was one thing over with. He didn't want to be at odds with Quinns family. It wouldn't make it great for anyone. He left his office and checked in on the kids. Sapphira and Sawyer both had sorted their homework. Settled them into bed. Sawyer asked him

"Dad, do you think she'll like me?"

Sawyer, she will love you. You are a very kind, friendly, smart young man. Sawyer smiled, and he kissed his forehead. He knocked on Sutton door. Are you okay?

"Sure." Sutton, you can say how you feel. "I don't want you to forget mom," she said.

Jack sat on her bed. Sutton, he will always love your mom. She was his first mate, his first love. Every day, he looks at the 3 of you. Is a wonderful reminder of her.

Your mom isn't ever going to be replaced. Quinn doesn't seem the person who would want to erase her. Just give her a chance.

Thank you. Goodnight. He had a restless sleep he couldn't settle, knowing she'd be travelling alone. The morning he headed for his office. Quinn should get here around 2 pm wolfen realm time.

He received a call from Quentin again to say she'd set off and the app he uses to track her car. The login and password. She had 6 cameras on the vehicle. One at the front, back, roof, one at each side and inside. The one inside he said he kept switched off for privacy.

He thanked him. He could track her. If something was wrong with the car ect he'd know. It did make him feel better to know. He realised he'd settled a bit and his wolf, too, and Quentin gave him her new number, which she could use in all realms.

He thought about getting her one of those as a gift, but her parents beat him to it. He downloaded the app onto his office computer. He logged in using the email address and password, and there was her car.

He looked at all the camera angles. Everything looked fine. He looked in at the inside. She was just sitting driving and singing along to the radio. He left her to her privacy.

She looked to be a few more hours from the pack. He would check in later. He carried on with his day. It got to 11:30 he checked the app. He realised she was just at the portal, not moving.

He opened the cameras and realised she was fixing her tire. s**t, he mindlink Hawkin. Hawkin, you need to quickly bring the car round. Quinn has broken down.

"Sure thing, boss. Even driving fast, it's going to take us 40 to get the portal," Hawkin said.

It's not safe rouges out they on her own.

"Okay, 2 minutes, boss,"

Jack headed straight out.

"Dad, what's wrong? " Sutton asked.

Nothing Quinn is just broken down. We are just going to go help. She's in rouge territory. Sutton just nodded and knew what it meant.

Him and his unit jumped into his car. It was a long 40 minutes. Until they reached the portal. He saw her car and 2 others. s**t who's this? Then he realised it was Alpha Crafts cars. What did that asshole want.

He pulled up she was talking to him. He saw scratches on her arm. "Blood," Storm said. He ran over what the hell happened. Are you alright?

"Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry. I ran over a spike in the ground, and it popped my tire. I'd just finished changing it when 5 rouges came upon me. I fought them off then. Alpha Craft here was driving past and helped." she said.

Convenient Craft. "Hello Alpha, Jack, nice to see you again. I see this is your new mate. " He said, smirking.

He turned to Quinn. You told him about us?

"No, I told him my new mate was in Cresent Valley. I never said it was you, as I didn't know if Craft was a friend or foe. We haven't gotten to allies, yet" She said.

Okay, he nodded. What were you doing here?

"I'd been in the human realm doing business and was on my way home when I spotted this damsel indistress and thought i should help," he said.

Quinn huffed. "I'm no damsel. I was handling them just fine, thanks, " she said.

Come, let's get back to the pack and get these scratches cleaned. Quinn nodded.

"Hay no, thank you." Craft said.

Jack turned straight into Craft's face.

"I see you're not marked yet, so up for grabs," he said.

He turned to go back to punch his lights out. Quinn placed a hand on his arm.

"Jack, he's not worth it. Come on, show me my new home, please. "

Yes, he'll ride with you. She nodded. He climbed in. Are you alright?
