Sasha’s Pov The air in the dorm felt like it had teeth. I stood frozen just inside the door, my heart banging against my ribs. Alex hadn't moved, still perched on the edge of his bed, bathed in the silver sheen of moonlight slanting through the window blinds. His profile was carved from shadows, sharp and unreadable, like he’d been forged from night itself. He hadn’t turned to look at me. But he didn’t need to.
