Elise went straight from the company to Hailey’s house. She tried to ring the door but no one answered. She fishes out a key on her bag.
“Hailey? I brought food. Where are you?” Elise looked around. No one there. She went directly upstairs to Hailey’s room.
She saw the girl busy in front of the computer.
“I’m here. I brought your food.”
Hailey didn’t answer.
“You didn’t tell me you already bought one. Can I drink this?” Elise grabbed the can of juice on the table and have a sip.
