I Fell In Love With My Ex

Chapter 2: Arrival

In continuation...

I immediately responded to her message

Me: Oh yeah sure, just tell me when are you coming here, how long are you gonna say and where are you gonna stay.

I anxiously waited for her reply, I couldn't help but replay my memories with her. She was amazing, she made me feel like I could do better in life, that I was meant for more and that I could be more. With her by my side I did things I thought I could never do, I wrote poems which amazed me, I won competitions and most important I felt loved. She was perfect, she felt like the one, but sadly fate had other plans for us, but fate was once again about to intertwine our lives.

As I blanked out in my dorm, my phone rang it was a notification from Aliyana.

Aliyana: We will be arriving in Singapore two days from now, we honestly haven't picked a hotel yet and we will be staying for seven days.

Me: Oh okay, I'll pick you up at the airport. I can also help you guys pick a hotel if you want?

Aliyana: Eh sure whatever, just send some recommendations or whatever.

Me: Oh, okay sure no need to be rude though, its been almost 7 years since that happened.

I clearly regretted sending that risky text yikes

Aliyana: Uhuh, sure just don't get any ideas okay, we just want help getting around okay, nothing more.

Me: Oh okay, sorry my bad

Aliyana: Ok, just send the suggestions. Bye

Me: Bye

She was clearly still trying to avoid me, or she is still mad at me, anyways I didn't have any intentions in the first place, I just wanted to be kind and plus I was bored.

After 2 days...

I got up early, dressed up and prepared myself, I had already prepared what they would need when they got here, like some transportation cards and I had already exchanged their money so they wouldn't need to go through the hassle of doing it themselves plus I wanted to be a gentleman towards Aliyana and her friends, I wanted to make a good first impression towards them. So I got to the airport and I saw their flight monitor, it showed that the flight just arrived so they were probably at immigration already, I just waited near the gate since they had no way of contacting me. After a few minutes one by one people started going out of the gate, it was mostly Filipino families who were here for vacation, then I immediately noticed her. There she was she still looked amazing as usual, she got a bit taller and she changed her glasses but still she was mesmerizing, I was stunned for a little while then I came back to my senses, I approached her and her friends. She was with two of her friends whom I didn't know, one of them was Leanne, she was slightly taller than Aliyana but she was a bit more chubby than her and the her other friend was Cheska, she and Aliyana have the same height although Cheska was a lot slimmer. I approached them and said:

Me: Hey, how was your flight.

Aliyana seemed a bit skeptical but I realized she didn't know who I was, but her friends noticed and immediately responded.

Cheska: Omg hi enzo!

Leanne: Aliyana this is enzo right?

She just responded with a simple

Aliyana: Oh yeah, that's him.

She was clearly trying to avoid any contact or conversation with me and I still didn't know why. While we were walking to get out of the airport I had a bit of small talk with her friends, I just asked them how was their flight, why did they choose Singapore, and how did they recognize me since I didn't know them at all. They told me they stalked my IG profile a bit just to know who I was, suddenly the conversation transitioned to:

Cheska: So enzo, how do you know aliyana?

Leanne: Yeah she didn't tell us much about how you knew each other, are you their family friend or classmate or what?

Enzo: Oh she didn't tell you huh.

Cheska: Tell us about what?

Enzo: She was ex-girlfriend back in highschool hahaha.

Leanne: OHHHHH, so that explains why she is trying to avoid talking to you right now hahaha.

Enzo: Yeaaah hahaha, that was a long time ago though.

We got outside the airport and I gave them their transport card which already had load in them. Her friends were grateful for being so accommodating but still no response from Aliyana, she was busy on her phone I think she was trying to avoid verbal contact with me. Anyways we got on the bus and there weren't any seats open but Cheska and Leanne also just wanted to stand up rather than sit, they said they wanted to strech their legs a bit. After a while the bus got going, little did Aliyana know the ride is a bit wobbly so you got to hold on to the overhead rails or the bars in order to maintain balance, clearly she was not paying attention and was not holding on to anything. So she was standing right in front of me still doing something on her phone. Suddenly the bus hard braked because of a pedestrian and she went flying towards me, suddenly she was leaning on my chest with her hands holding my upper body and suddenly she stared at me, I could still see it, those were the eyes I once loved, the eyes I would stare at under the stars, the eyes that saw me in my lowest point and at my highest point, I couldn't help but stare back while her body was leaning towards me with her hands on my chest and her eyes looking up towards my eyes. She suddenly recovered still trying to act like nothing happened, she just whispered under her breath she said

Aliyana: Sorry my bad.

I just shrugged it off, her friends though clearly loved what just happened and couldn't stop grinning and smiling, one of them even managed to take a photo. So we first went to the hotel and checked them in, it was around 2 o'clock and they wanted to check in as soon as possible then eat afterwards. After they checked in and settled everything they were about to go up to the hotel, I signaled that I was gonna go home and that just text me if they were going out but then:

Cheska: Hey, where are you going?

Enzo: I'm gonna go home why?

Leanne: Why don't you stay with us here?

Cheska: We did get two rooms, it would be a waste if only one person was staying in the other room.

Leanne: Yeah you could stay with Aliyana in the other room!

We were both shocked when we heard that

Enzo: No its okay I don't think Aliyana would want that

Cheska: Nooo she would love that, right Aliyana you're okay with Enzo staying in the room with you.

Leanne: Yeah Aliyana you're okay with that.

They were kind of pushing her to say yes and it actually worked, so I said I'll just go get some stuff from my dorm and I'll be back.

When I saw the room I was surprised.
