Chapter Four Beverly “Someone sent you mail, Beverly,” my business partner and best friend called out to me. “Like, real paper mail. It’s in an envelope and everything. It’s been forever since I’ve seen a letter.” Coming out from the back, where I had been doing inventory, I asked, “What’s the name on the return address?” I hadn’t been expecting anything like a genuine letter. “It’s been forever since I’ve seen a letter too.
