The next week passed by in a blur. The company was extra busy and so was Brandon and Kate. The construction deal was to be finalized by Friday and all hand was on deck. Kate would come home late with Brandon feeling so tired and would go straight to sleep while Brandon continued working in his home office. Kate couldn't wait for the week to go by fast. Brandon has been on everyone's neck for the past few days and barely even looking her way. Coupled with all the work she was both physically and emotionally stressed.
Friday came real quick and Kate was eagerly waiting for the day to end so she could go to sleep and never wake up. A bit harsh but she didn’t care. They had finally finalized the government contract and everyone was happy. Everyone had smiles on their faces even Brandon. M
